Travel, accommodations ...remote site.Reactive work plan, disorganized and poor communication.Answered 18 January 2020
Fluors policies favour their staff over contractors which is actually a good thing for the longtime staff employees. Unfortunately the continued economic downturn and federal inability to push oil and gas initiatives has resulted in very few projects executed in Calgary so you had better be prepared to sacrifice your family time if you want to stay on. No such thing as work/life balance in Calgary with the current and in-going economic climate. If you are lucky enough to have a job you will be encouraged to sacrifice any personal life you may have in favour of getting the job done no matter how unrealistic the schedule is. Not an enjoyable climate but if you want the job that’s what is expected.Answered 7 September 2019
