Amazing workplace with great people. Not a lot of opportunity to advance within. Work life balance can be a struggle. Great place to gain an understanding of the current market, its trends and how they affect your customers and carriers alike.
This company helps people get into logistics. However, it is possibly the worst place I worked for. A lot of favoritism and overt and subtle racism. Many of the people in the customer service departments were cool, but sales was horrible.
Verbal abuse daily Bullying Zero support Zero training Harassment Manager doesn't care Job description changed without you being told about it. Zero leadership Don't apply to this so-called business. They don't know what they're doing most of the time. Didn't get paid enough for all the abuse
Business is based on old business. The market is a little stale and the company preaches sales number that were achievable years prior. CO-workers were great and helpful but the warm list that they presented was actually a cold call list that was not vetted in any way.
Poor Ops team, Poor Management. Management can't be bothered to show up on time, so why would anyone else. Don't take the commission based salary for sales. They couldn't find a truck in a truck stop. They did have some quality Ops people but they all left because of management.
flexible work schedule very nice office setup relaxed environment but too much restriction in terms of company sales target market management level is lack of strategy and guidance overall its a great place to work
A typical workday would be 8-5 mindless grind. When you start, you have to focus but after a little while, there is no more focus needed and you can work the shift with very little thinking. I learned how to lead, office political correctness, managerial skills, problem solving and dynamic problem solving in a fast paced environment. Management depends on the department. Some were lax, some were carefree and others were direct and hard but took the brunt of the blame. Whereas others would pass it off onto the team and take none of the blame. Co-workers had to deal with a revolving door. You were lucky to make it 3 weeks when i started, and then if you made it over a year you were almost a senior. I was the only senior when I was laid off. The way people would respond to anything you said. Everybody was defensive and would take any chance they had to attack you indirectly. Just the general attitude of the place, when there were jokes to be said we would laugh, when it was time to work hard we would all work hard.
1 Golf Game and Christmas Party all included
No chance to advance to any real or meaningful position.
Company is very youth based - lots of drama - poor chance of advancement. They steal accounts and do not follow thru on promises made at the time of employment. Management does NOT make time for most employees - they are slow to respond to urgent issues. Management is immature and have very little practical experience. Social groups alienate most new comers - not a friendly atmosphere, nor a professional one.
free lunches..............some outstanding employees however most are not acknowledged.
