The company has a global footprint, great product lines, and hard working employees the only problem is that company is downsizing. Our brunch had great work environment and people, everyone was helpful to each other and had a good mood in general. People did not behave selfishly or in other negative/counterproductive ways. It was easy to get information or help you needed from other workers. Employees had the ability to make decisions and work independently. Work balance was a little lopsided at times: some days are very busy, some days are not so busy.
Unfortunately, the company is going through tough times with the industry downturn. There has been many cost cutting actions put in place with cutting of employees being the largest. All departments have been cut to the point where it is tough to do anything correct in reference to customer shipping, billing etc.
I wish management would try harder to fight the challenges of running a truly global company, while making sure every employee feels like a valuable part of the corporation.
