I really enjoy working here. People are great and friendly, work like balance is good. More shifts would be good but overall it’s a good place to work.

Mindless Fast Paced Job with literally no perks.
Lift Truck Operator (Current Employee) - Brantford, ND - 7 May 2023
FedEx logistics is a good job if you have thick skin and a tolerance for inadequate management. The recent removal of any and all incentives and bonuses , which were then squarely blamed on teammates production, detracts from a decent job. Prior to a recent change in contact, we had quarterly bonuses for production rates being exceeded, and for maintaining a good work ethic. There's an expectation to work your hardest everyday, but no real incentive to do so apart from avoiding a brief talking to by supervisor. The work culture is toxic, wherein older team members verbally insult, mock and belittle their teammates. Management refuses to do anything about it, rather placing responsibility on the victims of said bullying. They offer volunteer time off (VTO) to all shifts and employees everyday; if you decide to stay and work you will be sweeping or lumping containers for your day as a lift truck operator. They hold the lulls in shipping against you, despite the role of LTO not having anything to do with acquiring work on that front. OPs manager doesn't wear clothing that fits. Very disturbing. Management placates the tram with a pizza party or extra candy in the break room. Adults will not appreciate this as much as children. The metric in which you are rated, changes every month, with additional values being used or added in the suit the desires of the supervisors. This has lead to obvious lay off that appear targeted and personal. Overall, it pays the bills, isn't fulfilling or meaningful, and lacks any incentive to perform or advance (raises are 40$ a week for higher -
Pros
Vto
Cons
No perks or bonuses.

Operations Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) - Mississauga, ON - 29 April 2023
Friendly environment, everyone respected their job responsibilities and helpful to new employees. Staff were encouraged to review their supervisor's performance, it was not just a "top-down" review. Professional and fair!

Delivery Driver (Current Employee) - Markham, ON - 19 April 2023
When it’s slow it’s SLOW, other than that good job, you work on your own most of the time and aren’t rushed into oblivion, get to take as long breaks as you want also

Good environment
Courier supervisor (Current Employee) - Peterborough ont canada - 7 April 2023
Overall it's been a good experience working at FedEx for the last 35 years. It does have areas that could be improved but not really any different than most company's. I don't like the grade pay structure since it stifles independent effort but still is a decent place to work.
Pros
Good benefits and remuneration.
Cons
Stifles independent effort. Favoritism from management.

Hard labour
Package Handler (Current Employee) - 45 De Poci Way - 1 April 2023
The company is a good company. However, there are lot of confusion, conflicts and problems. I personally like working there, but many of the people are problematic. They are a tough bunch and unfortunately management has been rewarding bad behaviour of many.
Pros
Fee pizza, yes!
Cons
Depends

Not good for someone looking for hours
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Granby, QC - 5 November 2022
I worked as a D3 delivery driver for a couple months. The way you got your hours was every Monday morning you would wait for hours until the managers posted any shifts for the following week. As soon as any hours were available they were gone just like that for the next week sometimes getting no work at all. Was told when hired I could work up to 40 hours per week. Never happened. The most was 20 hours. Not enough for somebody to get by. Very little training offered

Great place to work and everyone is super friendly and helpful. Pay could be a bit better. Not too rushed and you are generally able to go at your own pace.
