worked as a package handler, it was a pretty simple job as i was a casual worker. The permanent part time workers were picked on a little bit more by the managers,

Liaison between 300 MailBoxes Etc and FedEx Canada
Marketing Specialist Intern (Former Employee) –  Mississauga, ON7 March 2018
I Projected, facilitated and maintained over 300 locations of the FedEx Canada/Mail Boxes Etc. partnership. Secondly, I increased brand awareness by creating and distributing marketing material packets for 300 franchise locations. I also organized marketing promotions and contests for the 300 FedEx/Mail Box Etc. locations.

The workplace culture was supportive, collaborative and very easy-going.

The hardest part of the job was the language barrier I faced in setting-up locations in Quebec, Canada.

The most enjoyable part of the job was the successful set-up of the 300 MailBoxes Etc. locations across Canada
Pros
easy going and support work environment
Cons
It was a short-term internship

Great place to work - Great office culture - Not enough hours in the day to get things done
Account Executive (Current Employee) –  Calgary, AB21 February 2018
Typical day
4-5 planned meetings per day
4 drop in meetings per day
Constantly replying to email for customer support
Booking meetings throughout the day
Input all meeting, notes and next steps into Salesforce
Great support system for delegating customer resolutions
Open door policy to management
Never enough time to get things done, hitting the KPI's, and prioritizing are the hardest part of the job.
Working with FedEx co-workers is the most enjoyable part of the job.

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) –  Mississauga, ON20 February 2018
Ok place to work. Heavy on micromanagement, otherwise it is not the worst place to work. Generally, the staff are nice. The management are a bit greedy and over obssessed with pilots though.

Casual driver fedex express, low hours
Courier Delivery Driver (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON12 January 2018
Bad experience for me, start as casual could not get permanent part time, full time dont even think about it.
Certain managers on power trips, 10 to 15hrs a week most of the time not even worth my drive to work. Serious favoritism, say a package handler all of a sudden gets his drivers licence and wants to be be a driver he will get a part time position before others because he was there before. So suck up like most and youll be bumpd up, if not ur a casual which means no raise in pay or benefits , treated like garbage

Seen many quit for this reason
Pros
Work outdoors and on your own, drive, meet nice people
Cons
No hours, no raises or benefits. Micro managed. Every minute is accounted for, which u will have to explain 3 mins extra lol

PACKAGE HANDLER AND QA CLERK (Former Employee) –  Scarborough, ON8 November 2017
Fun place to work, amazing people. Loved my boss. Wages are not the greatest, but its a laid back job and that makes up for it. Nothing you want to do for long, but good short term gig.
