Jobs at FedEx Ground
Ok money but not worth the stress.
Line Haul Driver (Former Employee) - Winnipeg, MB - 29 November 2023
Toxic workplace culture. Management plays mindgames with drivers and want drivers to drive even in bad weather. Only pros is money is ok but contractors also push drivers. No home time.
Pros
Ok money
Cons
A lot of risk and stress.

Good until it wasnt
Package Handler (Former Employee) - Grimsby, ON - 27 November 2023
Overall a decent place to work at, hours are reasonable and some social activies paid for by the company were nice. But not even close enough to make the micromanaging and internal favoritism when it comes to promotions worth ignoring. If you have a job already not worth coming here. If you don't have a job then it would be a good placeholder until you find another.

Sneller Management is the worst
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Ottawa, ON - 25 October 2023
Sneller inc expect you to come in before your shift to organize your own truck (unpaid)and you have to manually type over 100 addresses into an app that they make you pay for which is 30$ a month. Then they tell you to deliver everything but get mad when it takes more than 8 hours. They dont send other drivers to help when you have a lot more packages. The worst part is that the ceo and his brother of Sneller inc give their friends and family all the easy stuff. They also refuse to give raises until you quit
Pros
Nothing
Cons
No breaks. No raises, no respect

Easy going but dispiriting
Package Handler (Former Employee) - Ottawa, ON - 18 October 2023
I would recommend if you need the extra cash if you already have a 9-5 job/or in school as it's very flexible and easy going. Only thing I will say is I found myself very dispirited and tired after a few months due to the hours of the job (3am - 8am) and if you are a visibly fit male, they will usually place you with the larger trucks/packages.

Fun, but early hours, and only part time under 25hours a week. No lunch or overtime as company week not pay for it.
Package Handler (Part-time) (Former Employee) - Ottawa, ON - 15 October 2023
Start at 3:30 a.m. finish latest 8:00 a.m. will not let your work up to your lunch break as company does not want to pay for your lunch so you are cut off before 5 hour shift. And the drivers will load the rest. Not the best place to work. As you have no everyday after your shift is done. Sorry on employees and overworked.
Pros
Benefits after 3 months
Cons
Short hours, Very early shifts, low pay

Good pay
Delivery Driver (Current Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 12 October 2023
I enjoyed myself . Kept me busy, always on my feet. The majority of the drivers were nice and accepting. This job is time conscious. The faster you go the better I learned how to scan the package and receive signatures and how to organize the packages by the number on it. The hardest part of the job would be trying to find certain house addresses depending on the neighborhood and/or figuring out how to deliver huge/heavy packages.

Fast Paced word but fun since everyone becomes your friend
Package Handler (Current Employee) - Winnipeg, MB - 11 October 2023
The hardest part of the job is getting used to lofting heavy objects by yourself while being fast. Despite of the challenges, you will gain friends within your sort because everybody helps one another. Managers are nice but some are disorganized making the job stressful and chaotic.
Pros
Pizza every month
Cons
Short hours, not guaranteed to meet 3-4 hours of work.

Terrible job
Package Handler (Former Employee) - Woodbridge, ON - 10 October 2023
Management doesn’t care about you unless you kiss up and they give you unnecessary workloads with minimal support. If you want to stay healthy and positive don’t work here!

Good workout
Package Handler (Former Employee) - Canada - 10 October 2023
Management wasn't the best. No support from them. Short hours, always rushing to get trucks loaded. Safety didn't seem to be important. Good work out

Don’t work for a contractor for less money!
Truck Driver (Former Employee) - Woodbridge, ON - 3 September 2023
You will be working for a contractor for less money and some of them operates on the basis of favouritism and different rules for different people. Fedex ground doesn’t care if you are being treated unfairly since you are not a company driver. Find a company the value you don’t waste your time working for a contractor.
Pros
None
Cons
Work long hours for a flat rate
