Not much care given at all by management
Package Handler (Current Employee) – Delta, BC – 26 January 2018
Working loading/sort as a package handler at FedEx in AM hours, are.. well interesting. They talk before every shift and tell you to say if anything's wrong or if there is a safety hazard. If you voice your opinion and say something's wrong and unsafe, they make it off to be your fault and or ignore it all together.
(wobbly shelves, package handlers that just avalanche in unload, people standing on rollers, drivers not properly parking up to the vanline, unprofessional managers.. I swear the list goes on)
It's acceptable for a short period of time.
In all honesty, I loved the job.. at first.
Friendly staff, decent pay, independence.
Short 3-4 hour shift, 2am shift, unprofessional managment, safety guidlines ignored, ect.
