Management does not care about the employees
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Oakville, ON - 11 January 2022
They have mandated vaccinations and push you to get it even if it’s an issue for you’re health. They play favorite’s and allow some employees to do things but not others. They do not abide to medical notes for special exemptions with work environment

The most enjoyable part was the team and I learnt alot about title insurance.
Residential lending Specialist (Former Employee) - Hamilton, ON - 17 September 2021
It was great working here. The team was supportive and FcT encourages a work life balance. However, newly recruited manager made working here stressful and unbearable. The schedules were horrible.
Pros
remote, benefits dental and health, bonus
Cons
micromanagement

Choose another job
BDM (Current Employee) - Calgary, AB - 31 May 2021
To be very blunt, this is a joke of a company. If you have the option, choose another company. Management is awful, secretive and has zero appreciation for their employees.. the company doesnt even understand commission structure.. eventually you’ll be putting money in the company’s pocket abs not yours.. if you want a “yes” person, this is the job for you. Good luck.
Pros
None
Cons
Management, micro managing, lack of trust.

Over worked under paied
J.Title Officer (Former Employee) - Hamilton, ON - 15 October 2020
Starting salary is 34-36k. 2.5% increase annually. Extremely over worked, they also expect you to work from home. They provide laptop and resources. Bad management, they are looking for some one to blame for. No positive feed back. No encouragement at all. Excellent for entry position but not for long term. Do your self a favor, dont work here not worth the time and the value you are putting. No appreciation from any one. You are just a number to make number. If they want to survive they better invest in human management training. Safe your self and your family, it will drain you and add stress to your future.
Pros
Free coffee, tea, spciality coffee
Cons
If you do not believe me or other reviews, try it yourself

Not at all good company for IT professional!
Developer (Former Employee) - Oakville, ON - 22 March 2020
I've worked as a IT consultant for almost 1 year and 3 months. My pay was 50$ plus but I was getting only 35$ per hour because rest of the money was goes to management people as a commission to sustain in job. Even I got raised on contract renewal however I was getting only 35$/Hr and whatever raised amount also management took.
If you are experience and talented IT professional, then this is not a right company to work for you. But if you don't have experience in IT but wants to work in IT, then this company is good but have to pay commission to management people otherwise you will be kick off from the job w/o any reason.
Stay away!

Pros
Flexible work environment, Work from home oppourtunity.
Cons
Bad managers, aggresive and nervous people.

The most stressful job I've had
Specialist (Former Employee) - Hamilton, ON - 30 July 2019
The job itself is very stressful. Employees have an unrealistic amount of work to do and are burnt out essentially every month end. Compensation is quite low and not very competitive. Benefits are pretty good and co-workers are what make the days tolerable.
Pros
Coworkers
Cons
job, environment, management

Jobs at FCT
Nature of the business
Infrastructure Analyst (Current Employee) - Oakville, ON - 23 July 2019
The requirement to work almost every weekend takes a hit on quality time with my family. It is a unique experience, since the majority of the applications utilized here are created in house.

Very Promoting Workplace
QA Automation Analyst (Former Employee) - Oakville, ON - 5 January 2019
A typical day would start with Daily scrums and then goes on with Design meetings, Manager Meetings and Deliverable statuses.
There is a lot of learning curve in this company.

Good entry level position...that's all
Junior Title Officer (Current Employee) - Hamilton, ON - 3 December 2018
If you're educated and over 25 you can do better. No day is typical, it mostly consists of you taking over someone else's job because they've called in sick. Inadequate training, never stay in one role. Pay is NOT competitive. Good if all you're looking for is something above minimum wage.
