Hands down the worst work environment I have ever worked in. The entire hotel puts money before it’s employees. Mental health is not only neglected but you are shamed if you bring it up. Please avoid the Fairmont Chateau Whistler at all cost. I am still recovering from the constant mental health break downs that this employer brought upon me. Save your self and find an employer that is building you up and teaches you about hospitality and all the amazing adventures it has to offer. Working here you will learn all the wrong ways.
Poor Management, no mental health help, toxic work environment.
Idiot managers and supervisors, inconsistent hours and schedules, little to no work life balance, terrible wages. Spend all day dealing with entitled self centred customers, a nightmare from start to finish
Literally everything else
Fairmont is a very competitive in all aspect. The best place to work in an hospitality industry. They have a very good set of colleagues that give their best in all of their guests. This is a very good job to keep. Benefits and salary are very promising. How i wish to go back and work one day with them again in the near future.
Great place to work, good culture, fun environment, have high standards but they enforce them in a positive way. Great managers and support system, tasty large free lunches, high pay and great benefits, overall happy place to work
free lunch, good compensation
hard to move up
It was a great experience with my mother, I learned a lot about guest service. The hardest part of the job was the expectation but the coworkers, wonderful guests, and benefits are good

A prestigious company that gives good compensation and good benefits. But management should make some adjustments with regards with their company rules and regulations most particularly in the housekeeping department.
Too much workloads
This company motivates you to do your very best at work everyday. it challenges you to be a better version of yourself when you interact with guests. as a diverse workplace, it also gives you the opportunity to learn new things about different cultures which is always a good thing
The Fairmont treats its employees very well, with benefits and rewards for hard work as well as lots of opportunities to advance ones skill sets. You learn how to be an expert at customer service, and enjoy providing the best customer service.
Benefits, Employee Recognition
