ExVivo is creating the next generation of rapid point-of-care medical diagnostic tests that are safe, simple, and certain. Based in Kitchener Waterloo, ExVivo was founded in 2014 by two University of Waterloo students with the singular goal of developing new diagnostic tools to improve the quality-of-care for patients and physicians working in the allergy space. Over the past two years, ExVivo has grown in size and fostered multiple research and development partnerships with leading Canadian universities and researchers. With the cost of healthcare continuously rising, it becomes necessary to look for new solutions to provide cost-effective medical testing.
Allergies are on the rise, with one in five individuals suffering from one or more allergies. The ExVivo team is on a mission introduce new diagnostic tools for allergy testing, helping provide the necessary health information to receive the appropriate treatment from a healthcare professional.
ExVivo is currently looking for two driven and talented individuals from the fields of engineering and science to help build this future. These roles will initially focus on technology transfer and acting as a liaison between research groups across Canada, but fundamentally transition towards integrating ExVivo’s core intellectual property towards product development.
