Worst work place with too many managers in Montreal
Engineer (Current Employee) – Montréal, QC – 7 April 2017
I am working for less than 2 years. Too many managers and leaders for same job and they have not technical expertise. you do all work but others have the merit of your work. Few managers are immoral. Employees generally are borrowed for different client and it is very stressful because you have not training. I have not learned a lot because there is not help so if you want to learn you bring your technical books and work very hard. Management is very poor The culture: lot of favoritism, anarchy The enjoyable part of the job is some colleagues are nice and hours of work are flexible
very low salary and increase, many managers, favoritism and lot stress
Geotechnical Engineer (Former Employee) – Burnaby, BC – 2 June 2019
Worked there briefly. During 1st week at job, I realized that this is no place to advance career and started to look for other opportunities. Most of the projects were under $5k with pressure not to charge any time to them. Most of the people were not courteous and jealous of my position. Discipline Manager was extremely rude and humiliation of employees was common, resulting in low morale and substandard work on projects. Career growth opportunities are very limited I am glad I didn’t have to work there for long.
