Sales (Former Employee) – Calgary, AB – 16 July 2018
If you are a top performer, you will excel in the company but there is little patience and it's very competitive environment. Management teams are strong; the company employs extremely intelligent teams
Highly productive workplace with carrier development
NDT Technician - visual Inspector (Current Employee) – Calgary, AB – 2 May 2018

Area Supervisor (Former Employee) – Regina, SK – 3 March 2018
Upper management has unrealistic expectations and do not have a clear understanding of the core business. They have very high expectations of you going the extra mile and putting in extra hours and effort with little to no compensation. Upper management does not support mid level supervsiors which creates a very low moral working environment. I would not recommend this as being a employer of choice. If it wasn’t for a handful of long term employes the place would be in even bigger trouble than it already is.
maintenance AMC ( planner) (Former Employee) – Regina, SK – 27 February 2018
Poor place to invest your time in a planning a career. Little to no guidance by upper management with a high expectation for performance. Managers with high level of years in and experience in the field are tossed aside without proper cause on a regular basis.
Quality Engineer (Former Employee) – Red Deer, AB – 6 February 2018
Management is full of stupid people .Employees are hired , promoted on links basis . If you know management and you are good . You would be insulted , punished . If you want to ruin your career and put a black spot on your resume from management who knows nothing about systems and how they work . sure get there Company has good work . and only staying profitable coz people who spent their life in the field are stuck there and can not go anywhere.
Boring dead end job with no room for advancement, very poorly managed
Insp (Former Employee) – Regina, SK – 6 February 2018
Evraz is a very dirty, loud, poor working environment with awful air quality and even worse management. They preach safety when in fact they care about as much about safety as they do their employees. With the current contract new hires start around $25/hr, a wage you can quite easily find elsewhere with a lot healthier working environment and not working 12 hour shifts/nights/weekends. There is really no room for advament , little incentive to work hard and next to nothing for raises, the moral there is the worst I have seen at any employer in my 15 years in the oil/gas industry. Save yourself the headache and look for a job with growth potential and room for advancement, a career!
Pay you just enough to stick around
Awful shifts, poor air quality, uneducated management with no interpersonal skills, AWFUL moral
Area Supervisor (Current Employee) – Regina, SK – 13 January 2017
Not a bad place to work. Shift schedule is challenging and extremely difficult to advance or move to a position that doesn't require shift work. The wage and benefits are hard to find anywhere else, which gets you sucked in.
