Middle of the pack, yet ambitious company. Overall, good place to work. Management is good and approachable. Dispatcher depends, I liked mine and we got along which translated well to the road. Units and Trailers cared for, good mechanics onsite. Only real issue and reason for leaving was the pay but that's and industry problem, they are average. Company is expanding last I checked, good place to build time and many stay for years.

Pros

Shop mechanics can address issues onsite quickly. Trucks are in good shape.

Cons

Same as any other company dispatched position.

A professional place to work

This is a good company to work for, with my experience with them so far, they look after you & they care about their drivers . When I needed support from them either personal or work, they were always their to help me out. Give them a try & you too will be happy you gave them a try!

Great working environment

The staff are exceptional, knowledgeable and always have an open door to address anything. Dispatch is top notch. Never sit and wait. Always keep you rolling. Open and easy to resolve issues.Recruiting and equipment management are second to none. Everything by the book.Equipment is extremely well taken care of and when comes to driver safety, they are awesomeAll around great company. Loving it!!

ET TRANSPORT is a great place to work, I love the work culture of doing everything possible to satisfy our customers, excellent administration andamazing co-workers. fast -paced environment with many moving parts all with the goal of satisfying our valued customers. Here at et transport growth is possible if you are willing to learn and adapt. what I really like is our incentive programs where good performances are rewarded as we are all encouraged to do our best for our customers. a typical day starts with calls to brokers, booking loads, and dispatching load. and finally making sure load are delivered in a timely manner. if you are strong willed and goal orientated then I will say ET.TRANSPORT is the place for you ….

I am truly fortunate to be part of such a rich multicultural and multilingual organization!Amazing managers! Great mentors! They have a clear vision and strategy for the company, have important skills that help advise the team, help employee with a career development, treat all fairly and encourage diversity. They focus on progress, not only on results, are great communicators, good listeners, help people stay motivated, and performance standards are maintained.They enlighten you about the team’s inner workings, what makes you able to resolve problems and manage them more effectively.The detailed list of goals is ready for you as of beginning, which shows that the employer is thinking strategically about the future and while it can seem like a routine task, they do not approach it that way.It is not easy making everyone feel included, however they do!!

Upbeat Environment and Skills That Can't be Learned Elsewhere

Working at ET Transport for 5 years plus, I have learned alot and I'm grateful for what I've learned. At the end of each day you walk away with experience. You look forward to going to work to solve problems/situations that arises in everyday life on the job, and trust me There is Always a Solution. It's definitely interesting, never a dull moment type of a job. Always need to make sure to keep organized and keep up with the fast paced environment. All staff members and co-workers are great to work with, they become your family as the years go on. We all work hard, and we all like to have fun just as much. A day at ET, you don't even realize how fast time is just going by!!

Logistics Coordinator / Load Planner (Former Employee) - Vaughan, ON - 25 June 2020

I worked for this company as a logistics coordinator and trust me when I say this...DO NOT waste your time and energy working here. They make you work crazy hours, sometimes 12+ hours a day in the office, without any overtime pay. You will not be compensated for anything extra you do, or rewarded for the hours you put in. The workplace itself is very stressful and more than half the staff is hard to work with. Most of the employees have been working there for 5+ years, so if you're new there, then expect to be treated like garbage. Management along with owners will not work with you, and treat you like garbage. As a dispatcher, you can also forget about any lunch breaks. You will HAVE TO either eat at your desk, or forward your lines to your cell phones so you don't miss any calls. Drivers are also treated like garbage, and I know this because I've seen what goes on in the office. I had a very good relationship with all my drivers and would fight for them, on their behalf, to make sure they make their miles every month. Please take my advice, and this goes for anyone trying to get a job here, whether you're in the office, driver, or owner operator...DON'T lower your standards to work for such a garbage company!

Find another place to work

Driver (Former Employee) - Moncton, NB - 13 December 2019

My experience with this company was worse than terrible. They slip seat in Moncton. Be prepared to have dispatch tell you when you need to reset. Minimum days on the road is 15 or more. If you request to be home for anything important, their line is they cannot guarantee you to be home that day, so they send you home up to a week early, then you have to wait for a truck for a week. They don't have the loads to keep you busy. Pay is garbage, they promise the world to you and don't follow through. They do not pay practical miles, and if you are laid over, you have to fight for being paid. Moncton office does not fight for their drivers if there is a problem. There is no enjoyable part of this job. They promise you a brand new truck, and then when you return you have to give it up for another, but it might not be the same type of truck. You don't get the miles you want. They don't do what they say they are going to do.

Amazing People, Great PAY, Loyalty is KEY

Been working at this Company for over 10 YEARS. Great energy in the office, Drivers Love it here, get treated with Respect. I get dispatched over 10,000 Miles every month doing GA, IL and WI LAnes. We have multiple trailers dropped in the US. Trailers are loaded in the Yard in Concord Ontario, usually hook and GO. When I get into the US, 99% of the time I have a reload.

Terrible company

Management only cares about advancing themselves while walking on their employees. They do not pay well and decide whether they will pay your full pay to you or not and then threaten job security if you question it.

Huge workload for very little pay
