Yearly layoff sucks
Yearly layoff sucks, some managers are toxic and please beware of. Most colleagues are friendly. Nice technologies and some jobs are interesting, but the pay and prospect of the company is mediocre.

Great place to work as a coop
I had a great time at Ericsson working as a Co-op student. They have a great culture where everyone buys in. Management was amazing and the lead devs were always available to help!

Poor management and stressful work load
- No on boarding training for junior hardware developer (PA, digital, TRX, etc). No sure if it is common for software engineer. Most of senior engineers are nice and professional, but they are too busy to help the juniors.- Everyone especially senior developers in hardware team is overloaded. For example, the project deadline cannot be postponed even the shipment of DUT got delayed for a couple of weeks. You get to finish the work before the deadline. Those mangers don't care about your work life balance. - No trust between manager and hardware developers. You can feel the tension between technical team leader and project managers. - Low salary compared to the workload. - Too many useless and stupid 'so-called' knowledge share sessions or meetings. Just a waste of time. Maybe those high-level managers think the developers have enough spare time everyday like themselves.
