No advancement - seems like a retirement company

The company has outdated culture and a business that hasn't innovated in last 10 years. Avg age of employees is over 35 and younger talent will find it hard to advance their career here.

Good experience

ERCO Worldwide is overall a good company to work for. Safety and environmental awareness is their number one priority which is great. Advancement is an issue as well managements ability to recognize valuable assets.

Great place to work in Saskatoon

This is a great place to work in Saskatoon! There are not many industrial sites like this where you get to be home every night. The pay is good and the people are good.

Political environment

Beware, too bureaucratic.. u can only advance in this company if u know the VPs. No ERP systems to work on. 90% of the business still runs on excel. Even the installed ERP is not being utilized to its capacity.

Good place to work

ERCO Worldwide is more of a fun place to work. Have a great respect to the management team. Employees are very cooperative and supportive. The company is more into manufacturing the chemical products and the employees are mostly engineers who have vast experience in their field. It is sometime challenging to brief the Users as they have very limited IT knowledge, but it is really fun to make them understand the underlying problem and resolve any issues there to.

Outdated culture no diversity

Outdated culture, not very inclusive. Great life balance. Compensating salary. Poor management, not diverse. Very high turnover with HR department for last 3 years.

Good people; processes and strategy in the dark ages

Very kind and loyal people for the most part. Flexible work hours and most managers are comfortable with some working from home days. Senior management lacks strategic vision and is very disconnected from the business. Many, many processes and practices require updating.

A wonderful company to work for.

Wonderful work environment with amazing management and the whole team were a pleasure to work with. A company that believes their employees are the greatest asset, employee safety is the highest priority and support their team without hesitation.

Great people to work with , terrible management

Great company as far as salary and friendliness, Horrible management. I couldn't stay passed 2.5 months even with the above average salary. My position was stores coordinator at the Saskatoon Plant, my supervisor was unprofessional, rude, and old school - the manager, super controlling, critical . I was the 5th person to leave in 3 years, mostly becuase of the supervisor, yet nothing changes! I wouldn't recommend this company especially the store position.

Focused on the safety of all employees

Overall a great place to work. The focus on the safety of employees is second to none. Senior leadership maintains an "old school" work mentality, but are very open to hearing suggestions. The company is working towards becoming more modern and accommodating towards millennials.

Busy work environment - safety #1

Worked independently with very little supervision. Assisted managers with everyday operations. I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge regarding purchasing and inventory control

Executing capital projects and day to day production support. This included coming up with the conceptual design, P&ID review, PHA, providing technical specifications and project startup support.

Worst management to work for

The work and other operators are good. Any dealings with management is terrible with them changing minds and going back on what they said. Do not trust anyone in the management, they will sell you out to make them look good, take any ideas you have and call them their own. To get into trouble by your boss for putting in legitimate environmental reports because it lowers his bonus for example. They are "hurting" for money right now and raises and benefits are all getting cut back right now.

Management and union worked hand in hand to establish and maintain company objectives. Everyone is tolerant and willing to help new employees.
