Finance (Current Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 1 December 2018
Sleazy self absorbed management. Lots of backstabbing going on. Staff are always under the threat of termination. Team spirit is threatened not embraced.
Systems Analyst/Programmer (Former Employee) – Edmonton – 12 September 2018
Worst management I’ve ever experienced. Human Resources will crucify union people for speaking up. I can’t say enough about this nasty place to properly communicate how poorly run certain areas of this company are handled.
Utility Worker (Current Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 1 February 2018
The crew I am working with is hard work and dedicated to quality work and to bond together as a team. Training is available to all field workers at no cost to the worker.
Great benefits and salary, however management is a drawback
Financial Analyst (Former Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 7 January 2018
Overall the workplace is great and you learn a lot starting out. However, depending on which area you work, management may not be the best for your personal and career development.
IT System Analyst and Production Support (Current Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 1 September 2017
Its a great company with good work culture. Most of the positions are union positions and graded annually. I am learning lots of application integrations with Oracle and SQL server.
Labourer (Current Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 23 August 2017
This company focuses only on negative aspects. Never any positive recognition or feedback. If you want a place where you feel like your back in high school, then this is it. Bullying happening all around you. No matter how hard you work you can't get past the favourites in the company regardless if you have more seniority or work your butt off Would not recommend this company if my life depended upon it.
Information Technology Specialist (Former Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 27 July 2017
Worked as an employee for 6 years. As an employee you are treated well, great compensation, benefits are high compared to other companies. Moved cities or would have stayed on as an employee.
Sr. Infrastructure Business Analyst (Current Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 29 June 2017
Productive and Engaging Environment Excellent Leadership Responsible Management Many opportunities for performance recognition Typical Monday - Friday with some after hour requirements
Lab Analyst (Former Employee) – Regina, SK – 5 June 2017
My immediate supervisor was a bully. But the middle managment was okay. Work life balance is okay as well as the salary. The benefits were THE BEST I have EVER seen. Benefits made the job okay.
Great stable company that provides great benefits, opportunities for growth and advancement, and pays great
Wastewater treatment operator (Former Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 10 March 2016
Best job I ever had. The people are great, the company is great, lots of perks to the job, and your always learning. The company supports personal growth and development and provides all the resources needed to obtain the needed tickets and training for the job, as well as gives every employee an allowance for after hours education. As an operator, I would recommend this company, and say that an operator position here is the cat's a** it's the real macoy. I could go on for a lot longer about the work, the management, the company's growth projects and plans, the opportunities for growth, the opportunities for advancement, the competitive pay scale, but I'll leave that to you to find out for yourself when you have an interview.

Manager (Former Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 12 May 2015
Worst place to work at - frankly saying this is swamp. Old type of company which is wasting tax payers money. Too bad there are no "minus"stars to choose in rating
Manager, IT Security (Former Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 29 April 2015
EPCOR has a great culture with a relatively low turnover. Many people work their entire careers there. Many opportunities to move around within the company. No complaints
