everyone is cool calm and collected. lots of room to grow within the company. pay isn't the greatest but it may be rewarding if you decide to move up the corporate ladder. lots of politics to deal with at times but generally a great company to work for
Management Trainee (Former Employee) – Chilliwack, BC – 2 October 2017
Enterprise Rent a Car is an excellent place to work, if one wishes to grow with the company. Excellent atmosphere overall, along with the top management being extremely helpful and supportive. Overall, amazing work environment, and a positive atmosphere overall.
Car Detailer (Former Employee) – Thunder bay – 20 September 2017
Working as a detailer you generally see the not so great side of the industry. You will be dirty and have to clean many things you do not want to. The management at my location was great but that is not the same across the board.
Rental Sales Agent (Current Employee) – Leduc, AB – 17 September 2017
Good company to work for. Offer flexibility in their hours as the working day is from 6am to 1am, 7 days a week. Get to meet lots of different customers from all over the world when based at the airport. Gives opportunity to those who strive for excellent customer service.
High expectations low pay they give a raise then you get fired
Reservation Sales Agent (Former Employee) – Burlington, ON – 26 July 2017
At first it wasn't too bad a quick training of two weeks and they expect you on the phone taking calls 8 days in. For some this is too quick I was okay with it though. about 50% of the people who started training were gone within the end of the training.
Back to back calls and many rude customers who just want rental prices. I was put on a year of probation because a customer was yelling and swearing at me and I disconnected the call. No warning or anything, which was kind of interesting because I was also trying to switch my schedule and after that was not allowed too. This happened within the first month of working there also.
Every month they have a "1v1" with you where you get told where you're doing well and where you're not. They expect a 4 minute minimum AHT (Average Handle time), 92% of Adherence (on phone time excluding transfers, personal time or internet issues),45% reservations made and 60% of people who actually rent the vehicle.
So after a year of working there they decided to give us all a raise of about $3 which was nice. Until you figure out they fired about 10 people a month after this raise was given. Basically you're not allowed to take bathrooms breaks outside of breaks and lunch, I even had an issue with my stomach and still that didn't matter.
While the pay and the benefits might seem nice at first, the calls are repetitive and brutal to say the least, back to back and you will need to be at your desk for 9 hours a day. Excluding the hour Lunch and two 15 min breaks. There is also unpaid Lunch in which they force an hour. God forbid you wantmore... to stretch your legs or use the bathroom during work times.less
Pay rate after a year, Benefits, being able to swap and give away shifts
No communication with others, Unachievable expectations, long repetitive calls, Not being able to take breaks to stretch legs or use bathroom whenever needed, incompetent supervisors
Car Prep/Driver (Former Employee) – Timmins, ON – 29 June 2017
Enterprise is a great place to work with amazing employees working for them. Teamwork is essential to the organization and how it operates. Very fast paced environment but also professional setting. The most enjoyable part of this job is getting to drive different varieties of vehicles and the amount of road time you get.
Assistant Manager (Current Employee) – Midland, ON – 17 June 2017
Great company to grow within but if you're not willing to relocate your options are limited. Perfect environment for young go-getters with no ties to home/family. Lots of hours BUT lots of opportunity!
