depends on manager at each location
Service Agent (Current Employee) –  Calgary, AB11 August 2018
not a good management as this depends on the branch manager at each location who you will work with and by luck. they treat you by favour, not the job performance. when the big boss come to visit branch have to tell ahead every time and the branch needs to prepare and make thing really good impression for the big boss. some branch manager is suck.

Bonne entreprise pour débuter la carrière
Gestionnaire (Former Employee) –  Laval, QC7 August 2018
Possibilité de travailler avec des gens passionnés et dévoué à leur travail. On apprend définitivement comment gérer une succursale par contre les heures sont beaucoup trop longues et le salaire est peu compétitif.

High energy place to work. Every day is an adventure. Work life balance is not great due to long hours. Pay is pretty good and growth opportunities are good.

Member Services Associate - A/R & Billing (Current Employee) –  Toronto, ON17 July 2018
You'll be fooled and tricked into doing things for a while by smiles and promises of advancement. Work long hours with no real show in pay. Company also cheap with compensations and outings.

Great place to start your career and good have on your resume
Branch Manager (Former Employee) –  Edmonton, AB12 July 2018
There is definitely an expiration date on working for Enterprise. The hours are long and the expectations are demanding and often, unattainable. The culture was fun. I've met some and kept in touch with some of the best people that I had the privilege of working with. But that started to slide right before I left. It was very teamwork oriented and the company had way more fun events but they started to cut that out.

I learned a lot at Enterprise that has helped me out immensely with my subsequent jobs. I have gotten feedback that I got opportunities because they knew I would be great if I survived at Enterprise as long as I did. There's great training on customer service that you can take with you anywhere, because most positions require you to service either external or internal customers. Most schedules seem short after you've worked 14 hour days and/or 6-7 days/week.

But there's some definite dysfunctions. It's great you can be promoted so quickly but you may be reporting to people who got promoted WAY too quickly. I once brought up a sexual harassment concern about one of the other employees to a few of the area managers but no one did anything to help. They also drink the koolaid and force the expectations on you without any support.

Just...be very careful if you work here. If you do it, make it count and get out before you lose years off your life.
Pros
Great training, fun coworkers, great resume builder
Cons
No work life balance at all. Very long, difficult hours.

Good Company if youre dedicated
Management Assistant (Current Employee) –  Chatham-Kent, ON11 July 2018
I worked at a small branch, which meant I had fewer hours than the average enterprise employee (40-45 per week). If you are dedicated to the company and enjoy it, you can definitely move up. If you want to do so, however, you must be willing to work 50ish hours including weekends.
Pros
Clear advancement path and corporate structure
Cons
Long hours, relatively boring

You will never sit down, eat lunch, or live again. People are young and fun, but they will be the only people you will see. Say goodbye to your friends and family.

Damage Recovery Specialist (Canada) (Current Employee) –  Etobicoke, ON10 July 2018
Everyday is a new adventure as my clients range from Insurance companies, dealerships, corporate accounts to retail customers. The flexibility of hours makes it a fun environment to work for the company unfortunately not a lot of room for advancement in this role within the company.

It definitely isn't what you think it is, when you first start here. You think it should be easy but it has a lot of moving parts. You can move up really quick in the company if you have the right mentality but can also quit within a week if you're not the person for the job.

Management Trainee/Management Assistant (Former Employee) –  Orangeville, ON4 July 2018
Great Workplace, lots of room for advancement, no work life balance. The farther you move up the worse the work life balance gets and the take advantage of you due to your salary commitments

The job is demanding as clients are waiting to pick up their vehicles. Its an environment that takes the right person in the car prep area as vehicles come in very dirty and have to be detailed within 10 minutes, but it is doable and rewarding all the same.

Fun work environment, but don't count on having a social life
ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER (Current Employee) –  Edmonton, AB4 June 2018
The management trainee program with Enterprise is absolutely the best MT program in any Canadian company. The opportunity for upward mobility and immense training will prove exceptionally valuable for any individual wanting to advance quickly and learn a multitude of business skills. You can expect to gain a vast knowledge of account maintenance, finance, logistics, and customer service through this program.

The best part about this company is that every single person that works there, has had to go through the MT program and face similar challenges. Thus making your management team extremely relatable and helpful.

The hours are very long; depending on your location you should expect to work anywhere between 10-12 hours/day.
Pros
fun work environment, fast paced, opportunity for advancement
Cons
long hours

You can meet cool people...
Branch Manager (Former Employee) –  Toronto2 June 2018
The overall job at Enterprise can be a good start to a new career except there are way too many politics that take place.
Upper management is easily in need of restructuring
Work life balance is unheard of
Branches are forever short staffed in an attempt to save money and make upper management more money
Hours are unnecessarily long
Pros
You can meet cool people
Cons
Just about everything else
