Virtual Call Center representative (Former Employee) –  Brockville, ON29 January 2019
Employee and customer satisfaction was always a focus for Enterprise. Quarterly reviews with incentives based on performance. Reasonable goals and expectations, very easy to meet.

Long hours- Poor management
Management Trainee (Former Employee) –  Fort McMurray, AB29 January 2019
The hours are long. Management would not allow interaction with customers. Management micromanaged and hovered over your shoulder in hopes you would make a mistake. You’ll mostly just clean and run cars. You will not gain professional experience at this branch.

Horrible hours,too much american favoritism
Branch Manager (Former Employee) –  Guelph, ON25 January 2019
Management plays favorites..in a sense where every person that gets promoted to upper management is brought in from the US.
Questionable dismissals all over the place. You can make it to management after very hard work and a new GM comes rolling through every 6 months and decides to fire people for questionable reasons. Rinse. Repeat.
Pros
Drive a car from your fleet
Cons
Hours, locations, politics

Enterprise Holdings
Sales (Current Employee) –  Toronto, ON22 January 2019
They only hire from the management trainee program.

Probably the best way to get your career started but be prepared to not have a work life balanced as long as you work here!
Pros
Lots of room for growth.
Cons
Absolutely no work life balance. None.

Very good pay considering it is a job right out of school or for an intern position. Good culture and opportunity to get exposure to front line sales and customer service.

Enterprise Greed Culture
Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  London, ON8 January 2019
I also worked for Enterprise for almost 3 years. The day of legalization Enterprise fired it's at home employees from Canada. They have no problem contracting out to a third party company Arise so that they pay them no commission.
You're welcome Enterprise. I booked over a million dollars for that company and they repay me with a phone call telling me I'm being let go.
Pros
Working from home
Cons
Greedy company, lack of training, no job safety

Business Management Accountant (Current Employee) –  London, ON2 January 2019
A typical day in the accounting department is full of answering phones, laughing with co-workers, preparing statement, and catching up on missed items that could not be done during statement because of time constraints. The hardest thing about this job is staying on top of everything I think everyone in the department constantly feels behind on most of their duties with more things always coming at you so you either have to accept that you will always be behind or stay late every day to stay on top of it. The most enjoyable part of the job the people around you, the people are fun to be around and everyone jokes around.
Pros
Good people

Long Hours

Buy in, you're in
Management Trainee (Former Employee) –  Ottawa, ON17 December 2018
Not the best work/life balance. Many good and fun coworkers but the hours are very long, many employees underpaid. If you buy in and commit to the company, you will be on the right track for success.

Enterprise is a very well managed company
BRANCH MANAGER (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ON13 December 2018
Enterprise has a very good management trainee program. The program helps employees develop and provides the opportunity to advance your career and salary rapidly. Enterprise is long hours and does not allow both work life balance and advancement.

Assistant Manager (Former Employee) –  Ottawa, ON3 December 2018
This job is definitely not for everyone, and your experience with the company is largely dependent on who you're working with, who you're working for.

Great staff
Cons
fingers crossed you don't get an incompetent manager

Damage Recovery Specialist (Canada) (Former Employee) –  Etobicoke, ON2 December 2018
new grads get lured in as they need money with false promises,
it says it is salary based but it is hourly and they work you to the ground ,
once you get promoted your pay does not jump by much but are expected to work long hours
if you get sick they still want you to come in to work as you are always short staffed
Pros
trainee program
Cons
long hours

Management Mess
Management Trainee (Former Employee) –  Winnipeg, MB29 November 2018
The facilities are run down and in need of repair. Instead of replacing equipment or fixing problems a cheap quick fix is always their answer. The facilities are usually very dark, depressing, and an afterthought. Equipment breaking down and getting a quick fix every few weeks is quite the hassle. It's hard to do a job without the required tools.

The constant turn over of staff is usually a good indicator of how companies are run. Very poor communication and the fly by the seat of your pants day to day scenarios are a constant headache. You have to wear a uniform, which is great, providing they actually give you one. A winter coat or fleece for winter they do have. Getting one is difficult. "Where is your jacket?" Well if you finally got me one I wouldn't have to wear my personal one. So you tell me where my jacket is, then I'll let you know.

From not being able to set building temperatures to changing the time of day on a computer, nothing can be done without permission from head office first. Sad but true. Poorly run and poorly maintained is a normal day.
Pros
Easy work
Cons
Poorly run

NO security in work from home position
Reservation Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Work from Home28 November 2018
All Canadian work from home agents were let go October 2018, despite being top performers. We were given no notice, or a reason why. Just that it was a `corporate decision`. We were sent a meeting invite with subject: Department Update, 30 mins before the meeting and were then all told in a video conference we were being let go. All of our direct managers had no idea and were told 15 mins before us. Do not work for Enterprise work from home unless you are prepared to lose your job at any given moment!

NO job security

Loved the job, however was sad to see the Canadian call centre agent program end without notice. Working from home allowed me to focus entirely on the client without any background noise.
