Management Trainee Program (Former Employee) – Calgary, AB – 16 January 2018
this was a very challenging job which i enjoyed thoroughly it ;let me grow as a leader and stay competitive with the other crew on many kpi. boils down to being a fall guy having no support and babysittiering adults
terrible place to work. left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
Car Washer (Former Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 14 January 2018
A typical day at Enterprise consists of taking the blame for the managements mistakes. Management at my old location couldn't even manage to arrive for their shift on time, let alone manage the customers time. lets leave the bay doors open and walk away at -25. lets blame the guy in the back type of workplace culture. lies, deceit and poor management. never seen a gong show like this with professionals. I strongly recommend not applying unless you like to be treated like garbage for 14.60 hr .
discounts on car rentals if they have a rental available which they rarely do
poor management, unprofessional staff, take the blame for the team culture
Management Trainee (Former Employee) – Red Deer, AB – 3 January 2018
Working in enterprise is lots of fun during the summer but during the winter it could be a drag depending on your staff. The company is a well established company with good regional managers who take care of their staff. The days are really long its 730 am to 6 pm so the only real time off are your days off.

Assistant Manager (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 14 December 2017
Enterprise Rent-A-Car gave me some great skills, relentless work ethic, gaining a feel and understanding of running your own business, developing talent, ability to read a financial statement and how to effect growth.
Assistant Branch Manager (Current Employee) – Ottawa East, ON – 9 December 2017
I loved my duties at Enterprise, I enjoyed going to work each and everyday giving 110% my employees witness it and clients as well. When you are promised things that never happened and seeing new guys promoted just because they are friends to Areas Manager or because I dont play Hockey, even worst not going to the Bar after 12 to 14 hours day to get drunk. I have a family.
The people you meet are becoming family for life
the company does care about your well being as much as they say.
Branch Manager (Former Employee) – Regina, SK – 6 December 2017
Would only recommend as an entry-level job to get some real work experience. Would not recommend as a long-term career. Expect to work 50-60 hours a week (despite being advertised as 45). If you plan to move up to management, the hours expectation increases. Branches are consistently short staffed with little effort from upper management to fill those roles. Manager's are expected to put in the extra time. I would often be there 60+ hours per week. Salary was not great. When you break it down to an hourly wage it is most definitely not worth the time you are committing to being at the branch. The advancement program seems lucrative until you realize there is no upward mobility. Upper management plays favourites based on who they want to promote - not based on performance as they suggest.
Good entry-level experience
Long hours, short staffed, little upward mobility, plays favourites, promotions not based on performance, no work-life balance
Good place to start, get to learn so much as it relates to running a business
Management Assistant (Current Employee) – Brampton, ON – 3 December 2017

Automotive Service Technician (Former Employee) – Calgary, AB – 29 November 2017
Enterprise holdings is a great place to work with room for advancement at all levels. Pay is competitive and benefits are good. RSP matching and profit share is also available to full time employees which is an added bonus. workplace culture I would rate 7/10.
Branch Manager (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 28 November 2017
It is an excellent fun work place with strong team environment. Lots of room for improvement/ advancement as they only hire within. The workplace culture is very strong. Hours are long, but it goes by fast.
