Technician (Former Employee) – Whitby, ON – 17 July 2018
Enercare was an excellent company to work for as far as pay and support staff and rewards programs. Unfortunatley there is a culture of upselling that is pushed upon customers who don't really need said product. Sales videos are shown to those employees who aren't making enough sales which I found to be personally embarrassing.I just wanted to be a gas technician and avoided sales because of rejection.
Enercare was a fun place to work and I had a nice team to work with.
Senior IT Analyst (Former Employee) – Markham, ON – 10 July 2018
I learned many things working for Enercare, from mobile support, IT procurement to asset management. The typical workday consisted of assisting users with computer issues, resetting password and building and configuring new laptops.
Great environment of work, the workers are great, and constant work.

Sales Support Representative (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 10 January 2018
Great community of coworkers Management is ok at times but can be needlessly pushy Some targets unreasonable to try and reach and they don't really look why you cant do them Horrible hours with ever changing shifts affect work life balance
Junior Installer (Former Employee) – Etobicoke, ON – 15 November 2017
Work hours vary depending on the job assigned that day. 6-12 hour days. Most lead installers are willing to teach but some will do so with an attitude. Management are nice but sometimes push too hard to complete jobs in 1 day when it isn't feasible. Workplace culture very much depends on wether you have the respect of the other workers or not.
Full-time HVAC Technician Assistant (Former Employee) – North York, ON – 3 May 2017
It was an okay job, learning experience for me about the traits in our world. Other than that, I enjoyed going to work , seeing my boss and just getting jobs done house to house. The difficult parts were the hours and not knowing when you'll be home each and everyday with times always varying.
Boss would cover me lunch, bunch of breaks
unblanced hours, some days money /some days no money
Senior Manager, Call Centre Vendor Management (Former Employee) – Markham, ON – 12 August 2015
This was a fantastic place to work. You were always challenged to improve the business unit that you worked in and collaborate with upstream and downstream areas of the business to ensure that the customer experience was upheld.
A challenging environment which expanded my knowledged of the HVAC industry
