Worst experience
Office Administrator (Former Employee) –  West Kelowna, BC15 March 2019
The worst place you can get a job, lots or people start and quit at the same month. Management is not right. You not get paid for the effort you’re put in.

This place is still run by old carillion canada manegment with the same mindset and and attitudes deeply affecting morale. Dont waste a day with this company unless you just got your license and need the experience to get on with a good company.
Pros
Pay is average

Mediocre at the best
Class 1 operator (Current Employee) –  Drumheller, AB15 December 2018
The pay is mediocre at best, especially for being on call 24/7 in the winter. The workplace morale is at a crippling low, constant bullying from coworkers but nothing being done because foremen play the favourites game. And absolutely clueless managment. Upper Management does not know how to manage their own bowel movements let alone a company. It seems like the more clueless and incompetent you are the further you make it up the ladder. Equipment breaks down pretty much everytime you use it and its always the blame game every time it breaks. I would not want to get a level 1 inspection in any of their trucks or equipment, forced to run unsafe equipment and forced to run well past the federal HOS.
Pros
Easy work

not a great place to work. Zero life on call 24/7 from mid October to mid of April. Pay is not good. The guys who work there are rock stars really great to work with easy to get along with. If you have a beard the foreman will want to sleep you.

Very low wage but good benefits and good working hours
Heavy Duty Mechanic (Current Employee) –  Quesnel, BC9 September 2018
The management is terrible because of their unwillingness to communicate, take and offer advice and also because of their absentee behaviour. Very little room for advancement and no chance to earn a wage that is fitting of ones skill. However, the hours of work are very beneficial to a person with a family and someone who like’s the opportunity to be and or go home when required. The benefits are pretty decent and the pension is nice to have also.

481 km round trip for road checks.
Pros
See different parts of the country.
