I would suggest at minimum you dress business casual (google it). Even though the position you work in may have a different dress code every day, you want to present a professional image for your interview.
They didn’t ask me anything note worthy. I think they asked me what I knew about the company. Other than that they just made me do a personality and IQ test. Not sure why when the work is brainless.
Very customer service oriented. If a customer needs a product after hours, you're coming in after hours.
Employment term for new employee? Does it have a 6 months probation? Do lay offs occur in this company?
We were contractors so lay off happened after 11 months.
Officially it is 40, Unofficially around 60 hours. Many unpaid hours.
Fun Fact: They use the word "Strategic" every two lines in official statements which is quite cringy.
What would you suggest EMCO Corporation management do to prevent others from leaving?
Don’t lie about the opportunities, offer better pay, actually pay people for the hours they work instead of giving them in lieu, which you can’t take as it effects your profit sharing, don’t run on such a small staff, provide proper training, don’t require all new workers to work in the warehouse first (degree holders aren’t going to stick around for backbreaking labour), provide proper feedback, ensure that the new worker is actually getting shown how to use equipment properly (I was never shown). The list goes on and on.
