A relaxed and enthusiastic workplace environment with highly motivated students.
Secondary School Teacher (Former Employee) –  North York, ON15 August 2019
Students' success and overall well being are the central focus of this academy which has a high concentration of international students.

Administration is very approachable and works with an "open door" for both staff and students. This is important for maintaining a clear flow of knowledge about teachers' and students' successes, goals and challenges. Administration is interested in assisting wherever possible to improve the learning.

For students, this is a relaxed WoW place with many interesting field trips and on-site activities. Students find it almost impossible not to have fun and make lasting, rewarding friendships. This includes students developing friendly relationships with staff, as well as between staff members.

Standards are high and the work rigorous for both students and teachers. They go well above the provincial requirements in terms of Growing Success, paperwork, and quality of teaching. Most students are accepted at U of T, Western, McGill, Brock, and Waterloo.

Positions are offered by time limited contract. The pay is more than appropriate for a small private school and depends on your qualifications, of course: $25-30+.
