The business was really shutting down because they were sending the business to United State. But beside that, Electrolux was managed I an say by a small group of people family related. So there was no fairness spirit althougt they trained well.
Good place to work if you don't have your own ideas and opinions. Kissing '---' pays big time so if that's your approach you'll possibly do well.
This was a horrible experience where your results meant nothing if the right people didn't like you. Some of the management was terrible - lots to say but nothing intelligent to share. Lots of finger pointing was encouraged. Working here was my biggest career regret!
I enjoyed working at Electrolux and had the pleasure working with and travelling to many of the different offices around the world. I still believe in the Electrolux core values of passion for innovation, drive for results and customer obsession.
- Standard shift meetings with managers everyday - Need to take care when working as many trucks move heavy cargo, common accidents by drivers dropping cargo - Management is usually responsive but can be slow to respond to system issues - Workflow can fluctuate - Not a workplace to look for promotions (average employee with promotions have between 5-15 yrs with the company) - Is flexible with schedule change requests with 2 weeks notice consistently - No cleaning crew for the warehouse, leading to the drivers and other staff to clean once every month or when waiting for work
Working for Elextrolux was quite the experiance doing credit checks and selling vacumue cleaners to the public all over Ontario. The only problem that I had was the price of the companys products
The products where very expensive
It was a call center agent position which included phone calls and customer services. The most important thing I learnt there was to think on my feet and work under pressure Most difficult part was dealing with unhappy customers.
.Working on this company was not really motivating for me. I had the feeling that they mostly recruit people from their family environment. In my case, the job was not really organised by the management. You may work without knowing exactly to whom you report. The job is not secure as for many years, I was working with the fear of coming one day and be called to be informed that the position is closed. There is no good benefits.
Once a year the company offers foods around summer times
we worked normal hours
Electrolux is a decent company to work for but they daily to promote from within, failure to remain loyal with long term employees leaves a bad taste in your mouth while also showing Noone is safe.
Working at Electrolux starts with a friendly conversation with my collegues, then proceeding with our usual daily work routine. I learned to value my work at Electrolux as much as I value my relationship with my co-workers because we work there as a team. I find it challenging sometimes in hitting our daily targets but thanks to our understanding management we're able to achieve it. I love working at Electrolux because we are like a family there.
Starts early, close to my house
