Reviews about Pay & benefits for Chief Information Officer at Elections Canada
Long shift but not too taxing
Information Officer (Former Employee) - Richmond Hill, ON - 29 May 2022
Pay isn't bad for the kind of work you're expected to do, especially with overtime Even with an increased voter pool for last year's election, it wasn't unmanageable

Well pay but a very long shift!
Information Officer (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 10 March 2022
I only worked for the day of the election which was 11 hours and only two 30 minute breaks. I know that the shifts for the pre election voters were 4 days back to back of 11 to 13 hour shifts… lots of hard work! Although, I met lots of great people that came out to vote!
Pros
Good pay
Cons
Long hours and short breaks

Fun little gig
Election Worker - Information Officer (Former Employee) - Whitby, ON - 8 February 2022
Great if you enjoy working on your feet and don't mind the stress. Not so great if you want a predictable work environment - things can get pretty crazy, especially if something goes wrong.
Pros
Good pay, enjoyable with good supervisors
Cons
Very long day, stressful, disorganized
