Was ok

It was long day 18+ hours and it wasn’t fair we didn’t get many breaks we should have been given more time to relax and it was very long day. It wasn’t something I would do again

Pros

Time and a half

Cons

Long hours

Excellent place to work!

I worked in the elections office as a service agent as well as election day I was the central poll supervisor. I would work for them again in a heart beat. We had a great regional officer and I was able to have flexible hours. The pay is good as well and they provide good training.

Not worth the money (IF they pay you correctly)

If you thrive on chaos and limited training, this is the job for you! Currently trying to rectify a payment issue (I was paid as a basic worker to do a supervisory job). It is a job best suited for self sufficient individuals as 90% of it requires problem solving on a large scale. I was provided with minimal training (as were my workers) to work an 18 hour day, plus additional hours of preparation and wrap up. Not a bad way to make some pocket coin as a Poll Clerk or DRO, but stay away from the supervisory positions as they don't provide the compensation and support they deserve.
