Very fun work place, especially for engineering, and a great teamwork environment
R&D Heart Valve Project Intern (Former Employee) – Irvine, CA – 10 April 2012
Designed and developed a simulator to test the trans-‐‑catheter heart valve’s torque delivery system.
• Conducted a variety of experiments to test the torque, compression, tension, and fatigue limits of the trans-‐‑
catheter heart valve and the delivery system.
• Presented demonstrations of the heart valve delivery for doctors, company executives, and other businesses.
• Participated in meetings and conference calls with a variety biomedical, biotechnology, and mechanical
engineering companies to develop and design a tabletop model of a transparent, pumping heart.
• Engineered mimicked calcified valves to increase accuracy of the trans-‐‑catheter delivery system simulator.
