Worked here for about a year and was fairly comfortable cleaning. Had to leave due to a personal issue but while I was there the staff were quite friendly and supervisors helped along the way. Hours were a bit hectic but that’s how cleaning companies operate. Was fun finding bar change on the floor =D
Was a cleaner for a couple years at downtown Vancouver locations. Works over 32 hours per week so they have free beneifits package for that! Minimal supervision.. quiet and I was in control of what I did. Had lots of fun with the friendly bar staffs and cool environments. Cool gig!
Beneifits over 32 hours
Night time shifts
Owner does not respect or takes their employees health or wellbeing into consideration. Expects you to work long hours without proper compensation. Does not respect employees right to a work life balance. Leaving and finding alternate employment was the best decision I made and the best advice I can offer someone considering applying, look elsewhere.
Owner and Operations Manager do not know what they are doing nor respect their employees
Great side income along my full time. Supervisors supportive when needed. Labour intensive but good excercise. Work times flexible which was awesome. Learned more about cleaning. Overall great experience.
4% vacation pay
Early morning or late nights
A typical day is cleaning nasty bathrooms and barsThe supervisor was an uncaring fellowNot sure what motivated him to do this but he expects over the top from you in all aspects of your life and for you to drop what you are doing to do the jobNo family life is cared for or important to himNo family-work life balance hereYou best not have a social or familial life because the job comes first
no family life and work balance
They expect you to work 12 to 15 hours a day and dont pay extra or overtime even when you break your back they expect so much! Terrible employer. They also hire illegal immigrants as well and pay them less then minimum wage!
They do offer a free medical package covered by them!
They expext way to much and it doesnt match the pay
