Backstabbing management

Local micro-manager is clueless.Management lies to your face, and talks behind your back. Childish games being played. Subpar equipment and company would rather give work out to outside carrier Trimac. If you want to make money go drive for Trimac.Management tries to force you to work stat holidays and be prepared to work weekends even when they cant keep you busy m-f.Dont waste your time here

Pros

none

Cons

weekends forced. shoddy equipment. safety bonus evaporates

No Frills

You pickup ethanol at the same place every day. You take it to one of a few terminals, offload, and do it again. It's not difficult but definitely requires some hustle to get it done reliably. If you put in the effort you are treated well and really don't have to worry about anything else. The manager is a reasonable guy, the pay is great, and you are home every night.

Tiring but, occasionally helpful

A typical day at work consisted of door-to-door sales. I learned sales tactics, goal setting and time management. The 'lead' sales associates are only responsible for setting an appointment and are typically students/ young adults.
