Fun place to work highly competitive.
Financial Service Representative (Former Employee) - Newfoundland and Labrador - 29 April 2022
Fun place to work lots of group activities and incentives. The bonuses are great when achieved, but the bar is set a little unrealistically high to achieve those bonuses at times. Can be a very highly competitive environment. Decent schedule for home work life balance. Cold calling can be repetitive.
Pros
Incentives, Activities, Bonuses, Decent Pay
Cons
Highly competitive, cold calling, repetitive environment.

Good Place to work if you have good management
Financial Service Representative (Former Employee) - Etobicoke, ON - 15 June 2020
This is a workplace that you need to constantly competing with one another. Everyone is chasing bonus, which is great but you need to struggle to get it. If you are able to hit the bonus, it feels great. But the money can only work for so long. Constantly over worked which starts to become the norm. You won't notice that you start staying later and later at work. Completely frowned on if you leave work at you set finish time. They rather you stay later to try and get another loan through the door. Most branches you eat at your desk while working because of the heavy work load or you do not eat.
Benefits are okay and they'll cover you after three months of working there. Covered on most things. Not easy to book appointments since your shifts are constantly changing week by week In most branches you cannot have a day off on certain days like Monday, Tuesday or Friday. Due to the amount of work you do on a daily it's not worth the pay. If bonus was more attainable than maybe.
You work directly with customers. So you'll find great people who will make you day or ones that make you want to walk off the job. You're encouraged to say whatever is needed in order to get that loan closed.
I stayed in the job for two years and that was because of my manager. If you have a good manager everything will become a lot easier and they will usually take on most of the stress. Sadly, the turnaround rate in the company is high so I lost that great manager. I had two managers who are on the poor side. Most managers leave the office at a way earlier shift which leaves most of the work -

Good place to work for Starters
Financial Service Representative (Former Employee) - Victoria, BC - 14 April 2020
The bonus pay is good but you have to work really hard to hit the unrealistic bonus target. Too much competition that does not support team work, Workload is very stressful. work hours are 10am to 7pm, I sometimes leave by 9pm with getting paid overtime.
Pros
Bonus pay is good money but that is if you are able to make the unrealistic target
Cons
No work life balance
