The people make the job!
SECURED LOAN ADMINISTRATOR (Former Employee) - Mississauga, ON - 6 May 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedStressful, fast paced job. Expected to review applications in crazy short time frames. However, the people made the place so fun and helped outweigh the cons. Pay could be improved.

travail tres interessant si vous voulez une experience dans les finances. l'ambiance au travail est tres bonne, travail toujours en equipe et le directeur tres gentil. au debut c'est un peu stressant mais on s'habitue vite et tout devient facile.

Bonne chance
Représentant en services financiers (Former Employee) - Quebec Province - 21 May 2022
Pros
Plusieurs repas gratuits, petit bonus mensuel
Cons
Fausses promesses, faible reconnaissance, mauvais dirigeants

Fun place to work highly competitive.
Financial Service Representative (Former Employee) - Newfoundland and Labrador - 29 April 2022
Fun place to work lots of group activities and incentives. The bonuses are great when achieved, but the bar is set a little unrealistically high to achieve those bonuses at times. Can be a very highly competitive environment. Decent schedule for home work life balance. Cold calling can be repetitive.
Pros
Incentives, Activities, Bonuses, Decent Pay
Cons
Highly competitive, cold calling, repetitive environment.

Pass
Branch Manager (Former Employee) - Terrace, BC - 7 April 2022
I worked there. My manager was super toxic and no one did anything. Then I became bm. Then after I left I found out the the employees were talking trash behind my back. All lies. That place is very toxic to work. I cried almost every day working there. Work life you have none. Pay is horrible. Goals are unrealistic. And the regions are full of cliques and will talk badly about you.
Cons
No work life balace. Talking behind back. Toxic. Pay not great.

Bad pay
Senior Financial Sales Representative (Former Employee) - Mississauga, ON - 7 April 2022
Bad pay, less room for advancement. Employee suggestions don’t get implemented. High turn over rates. Rude and aggressive customers. Work life balance is bad

High expectations
Financial Service Representative (Current Employee) - Niagara, ON - 3 April 2022
As an FSR, you're expected to carry the company while being paid the least. Sales targets are unrealistic and even if you hit target, bonuses aren't guaranteed

Productive and fun place
Fsr (Former Employee) - Hamilton, ON - 5 March 2022
Productive and fun place to work. Great work life balance, well paid, targets monthly. Co workers are easy to get along with. I would reccommend to anyone who wants to get into the finance industry.

This company takes more money away from bonus as time goes on and puts more on your plate. The turn over for employees is incredibly high. Stay away
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Square One, ON - 27 February 2022
Stay away from this company if you’re looking for something solid long term. There’s no good to come of it. Only more work and less pay. The employees are great but management is often lost and upper management are dictators.
Pros
Friendly teams
Cons
Low bonus, feedback ignored, below average pay, wage increases are next to nothing, I was there for a year and a half and got no pay increase, I could go on and on

Raise System is poor, Sales Leads are low. Sales calls expectations are High. Stressful Targets
FSR (Former Employee) - Edmonton, AB - 16 February 2022
This job is a 100% Sales position. If you do not like making cold calls, selling auxiliary products that increase the principal of the loan then this Role is not for you. You are not a Lender as the amount of the loan and the interest rate is decided before you get started. Money is not always approved wisely especially to those who live on a fix income. You will see an increase in this behavior during the open houses that are held to boost sales. There is a place for easyfinancial they just need to reel in the costs involved in my opinion
Pros
Can help those who absolutely need the money and have a poor credit rating, Can help rebuild credit if you want to, Money is in your account within a couple of hours
Cons
High Cost of Lending.

Great career & development opportunity!
Branch Manager (Current Employee) - Dartmouth, NS - 11 February 2022
I joined an organization as an FSR and was promoted to the branch manager. The company offers you a great opportunity to develop yourself as a leader & improve your sales skills. If you are looking to join a team that is highly motivated by performance this would be a great fit for you.
Pros
*Great opportunity of growth, *Hourly wages +bonuses + incentives, *Very competitive pay for FSR position in Nova Scotia, *Highly motivated team and management
Cons
The company doesn’t sponsor for PR/closed work permit, I would except higher starting salary for the branch manager, This job is not for you if you don’t want yo improve your confidence and invest in your development

No work life balance
Financial Services Representative (Former Employee) - Brampton, ON - 19 January 2022
Unhealthy work environment. Very competitive and you basically fight with co workers daily. Manager don't care about you or your personal goals. If you are good at your job and have a lazy manager, you will never grow cos you will be doing the manager's job for less pay. Very stressful and no rest . You can work 2 weeks straight no day off. They never pay overtime. Always owing your hours
Pros
If you are at a big branch monthly bonus is great if you hit your target
Cons
Extremely high target.

Avoid it
Financial Service Representative (Former Employee) - Toronto, ON - 16 December 2021
Well , it was alright if you are just starting and looking for an experience. Would not recommend to work there for more than 1 year. Experience will be valuable, you will learn a lot about lending.

No work life balance
Financial Service Representative (Former Employee) - Brampton, ON - 27 October 2021
I worked here for just over a year. There is no work life balance at this job, and according to me, no matter how much work you do it is never enough. The managers say we are all one team, but when the time comes for them to show that, they never stick to their words. This job is good for new graduates or new immigrants who have come to Canada to get experience.
Pros
None
Cons
Long hours, low pay, no appreciation

Don't quit your day job
Financial Services Representative (Former Employee) - Cranbrook BC - 14 October 2021
They have a formal training that has some big holes. The branches are supposed to make up for this but the manager hates training and doesn't wnat anything to do with most people. So the Regional manager tells you to ask questions, but the branch manager tells you to look it up for yourself - lets you search for an hour or so before checking in and would rather correct and criticize than teach.
Pros
pay is good
Cons
strefful, bullies with no support

High pressure sales, very political
Financial Services Representative/manager (Former Employee) - Pembroke, ON - 11 September 2021
Managers willing to berate you as a joke. Sales targets that are not realistic, underqualified managers, low moral, dishonest managers, performance...
Cons
Regular sales events with impossible targets
