I would first work on having healthy communication and interaction with all staff members, ensuring that they know that they are backed by employers that have their best interests at heart. I would aim to have a healthy work environment, (have discussions,events and so on to build healthy comradery). Our main role is to care for sickly individuals, our love and dedication should start from within and thus our care for our patients will be even more of a greater quality. I will ensure that the necessary equipment needed for care is available and effectively functional. I will ensure that each stakeholder/department is accountable for doing their part (transportation, OSHA, Quality Assurance) and so on...and that there is no blame shifting when issues occur. I will ensure that there is sufficient parking for employees because that is one issue currently occurring. I will ensure that there is a proper avenue for counseling for staff...the current counseling available is very ineffective and unprofessional. The staff work in a very stressful environment and at times have no means of relief. Healthy employees equates to more productivity.
