They sold their production facility and laid off all the logistics workers, opting for 3PL. Pay was good, but atmosphere was not. Would not recommend.

Worst people ever

The hardest part of the job is working with old employees who think they own the company. Too many smart people who actually don't know what they're doing. Gossiping every where. Not a good place to work.

What is the best part of working at the company?About 90 percent of the workers are very very friendly and kind.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?I have never experience stress in ED Smith as far as I am concerned.What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Ver very good and the environment is conducive.What is a typical day like for you at the company?A typical day for me is that sometimes when production is slow they ask the temp workers to stay at home and they only use their full time workers.

An overall great place to work. I am treated very well. They train you in an appropriate way, that suites peoples pace of learning. Co-workers are great for the most part. Good management that knows how to communicate. Night shift can be a little difficult at times, because I'm not a night person, but the wages and benefits more than make up for that.

Not many cons, other than night shifts can be a little tough at times.

Great work life balance and amazing co-workers

I’ve only been at E.D Smith for a few weeks now but I love it so far . The hours , pay and benefits are great. I was a little nervous learning a new job but everyone there has been so helpful and supportive.

Place lies; Management HR Play Games With New Employees

HR, lied during hiring process. They tell you anything to get you in the door. Then just before your 3 mths are up they fire you! Without any reasons. Show up; for work everyday, and never told there's a problem till they make an excuse just to get rid you! Get good reviews in the beginning just to be told otherwise. Lack of communication basically lied to your face the whole time. Can't fix a problem without knowing where the problems are learning new a process. Management! should follow up! To see exactly what you! Know. Any new job! Requires time spent on job enough time given after accomplishing it. Moving on to a new task. Pushing people from one job! To another soon isn't teaching someone. Don't Honour thier Contract.

Was a great place once upon a time.

Typical American owners(Treehouse). People are just a number. They only care about the bottom Dollar but won't come out and admit it. Year after year reduce and take away anything good and earned from employee's.

3 shift rotation, 1 week per shift. Pay is ok, but not for this sort of shift rotation. So worries about keeping people that they let you slack as much as you want. Probably why they had to sell everything.

Your coworkers are 10% great and 90% are toddlers, supervisors are like the nut that runs the nuthouse. Job was easy enough but the people were belligerent and mouthy, really awful attitudes. Everyone seemed like they were working against each other

Fun and welcoming

If you enjoy long breaks and your a smoker this is the job for you!

Very easy going environment multiple long breaks during shift. Rotating smoke breaks in the smoking area especially on night shift with people outside for hours at a time. Loved it. No cameras in smoking area.

Great company. Complication: Agency

It was great working with the company ED Smith and the only set back that existed was that I got this job through another agency and they did not respect what was happening to me during the time when I was trying to explain that something happened to me during the job.

Fun work place

Has a great training program to keep employees and customers safe. The hardest part of the job was standing in one spot for long periods of time. The people that I worked with were fun and easy going.

Working in a very professional team is a real fun. There is a cafeteria in the building, gym with tennis tables, change rooms with showers. Working areas and meeting rooms are organized very well.
