This company is well managed and will be around for a long time. They pay near the bottom of the scale. They do have the workers' back most incident
Senior Instrumentation Technician (Former Employee) – Ft Hills, Joffre, and Firebag, Alberta – 17 August 2018
Get off the bus and report to the Dynamysk trailer. Get dressed up ready for work and partake in AM meeting. Get job assignments and prepare to undertake the mission as per instructions. We learn how to do our job as per the client's requirements.Management does not show up on the job site very often. Every one is there to make some money and they get along well with very few worker to worker conflicts. Hard to be working so far from home when the job is in a remote location. Learning new ways to do things and gaining inside into how the process is designed to work, how the instrument devices contribute to the process working are enjoyable.
journeyman electrician (Current Employee) – Sherwood park office – 12 January 2016
Most of the guys are good and fun to work with. Company hires mostly contractors to run their jobs because their company itself hasn't invested in any tools. Only problem with that is none of the contractors bring their tools to site. Very cheap company, never has material to do the job. Journeyman rate just lowered to $39/hr for industrial work. Most of their key guys are very sensitive with very large egos.
Dynamysk is a great place to work, customer driven and work / life balance
Technologist II (Current Employee) – Calgary, AB – 8 December 2015
I have been working at Dynamysk for 5 years now as an Electrical Technologist. Dynamysk is very team orientated and ran well from a point of low overheads and project focused groups.
They do like to promote from within, usually, however it is not the rule. All employees receive profit sharing, benefits and a nice plus is every second Friday off which allows for family time or time to volunteer with the kids school.
You are not micro managed day to day, just work hard and get the job done right and everyone is happy.
