I worked there for 3 years with my honesty , with good manner, never make any mistakes . And somehow i saw so much partiality in inner staff. They strech their on person , and whatever you do ,however u do there is no value.not trustworthy environment.
Management is corrosive; there is a lot of favoritism in the Management and upper management. They drown you into work without any additional compensation. Lots of opportunities for team members to vent and backstab each other. High turnover rate amongst supervisors. HR has vague policies. No proper on boarding framework. Very disappointed in the culture and mentality of the company.
Incentives during busy season
Its true about favourtism is this company, its not about who is more experienced for certain jobs, its more about where you came from. If you don't speak punjabi you get isolated. Can say its almost a racial atmosphere there. Management lacks direction, and is unwilling to train people, they cause most of their own problems not being on top on situations. Not supervising,
wage is not bad, benefits are above average.
Not a bad company to work at if they favour you. The favouritism is base on who sucks up to the bosses. Your are forced into other roles that is out of your scope and no training is provide and the expectation is production driven. There is a underlying feeling among the employees of an unstable environment. There is a pattern where they frequently lay off or force you to retire earlier that expected so HR dont have to pay out the full unemployment or retirement benefits packages. The perks is free breakfast every Friday. Purchase of Stocks.
Toxic management and lot of folks who do not know what they are doing. Incapable and unqualified supervisors and managers. Do not work here
Toxic management and folks who do not know what they are doing. Incapable and unqualified supervisors and managers. Some associates get harassed by managers and HR is completely useless. Aim of the managers is to run a low standard operation plagued with incompetent managers. Company doesn't focus on any kind of employee development and lacks vision to improve and be profitable
I dont feel that when working in the gtalk ppl are paid enough to support themselves as the cost of living is so high, ppl are force to work overtime just to pay for the bare necessities.
The job here requires you stand on your feet all day as it's a warehouse job. The environment is not friendly as you are been monitored. The security check as you go in and out of the warehouse is unprofessional.
What I love most here is the safety check, making sure you are dress appropriately in the warehouse and coffee/tea given to workers.
The management doesn't care about the welfare of the workers.
No opportunity for growth in this company for current and experienced employees, They give opportunities to new comers, even though they can not fluently / properly communicate. No safety for the employees and aak for more production with minimum wage.
DSV has many warehouses. I was employed through Randstad so they mostly sent me to wherever they needed people. It was interesting seeing Sephora new products before they get to stores and customers.
A lot of my co-workers were very nice, Free snacks like donuts and samosas sometimes
Sometimes it was stressful when orders had to be shipped out asap
