Relaxed atmosphere, managers are not micromanagers and are very approachable. Hours are flex and I set my own schedule.
As a scientist they was quite a bit of time spent in meetings and administrative work.
Pros
free coffee, training offered
Cons
high up managers are located in Europe.

Good company, promote development and training of its employees.
As in big companies, lots of meaningless meetings, need to work extra hours to catch up to finish work load

i worked at ocean nutrition for five years. all decisions where made in dartmouth when the work was actually taking place in mulgrave n.s. if you told the management that there was cheese on the moon they would go looking for it. upper management would hire there buddies regardless of there work background. a real circus.
Pros
night shift because the super would sleep
Cons
hectic when the super would wake at end of shift

would receive order requests from clients via phone or fax. From there, I would input the information and send it off to production.
If it was quiet on the Animal Nutrition side, I would go over to the Human Nutrition department and help out.

I learned SAP, Business Warehouse, pricing and creating bill of material for new product.

I also learned how to issue a credit through SAP and return material to inventory through SAP

Prior to SAP, Roche Vitamins (prior to new owners) I worked and learned AS400.

Hardest part of the job was setting up laptops for new employees.

All management worked well with their staff and very easy to communicate and work with them.

Most enjoyable part of the job was being appreciated and acknowledged as being a wonderful co-worker.
Pros
wonderful clients, co-workers and parking
Cons
none
