Not what I signed up for

Not a job if you like your family. When I went for the job, I told them maximum two weeks out would rather not do that. My last run was over 3 weeks. And the pay was always wrong.

Accounting manager was very bitter, and never took accountability for herself, always taking fof longer on lunches and coffee breaks always brought her problems to work and we all had to hear about it

Poorly managed

Send drivers for long periods expected to share a room with other members. personal vehicle damaged on drive star property while away driving for two weeks. Refused to pay for damages. Dispatch personal rude in their communications to drivers.

I am a senior and it is the perfect job for me I pick and work the hours that work best for me They are compliant to all transportation laws and you have the right to turn down any trip offers or refuse to drive unsafe equipment They are good to the drivers and listen to them

Hotel room every night when away from home and 40 dollars a day meal allowance

Dispatch - Operations

A typical day was very busy. I learned great Logistical problem solving skills especially from the drivers. I was so disappointed on how they treat their drivers & staff-considering in this type of business; they rely on them so much for the bottom dollar. Very unprofessional behavior from all levels of Management & Operations (mostly upper-management - but everyone joined in on bad mouthing someone here) there was a lot of mocking of former employees, bad mouthing drivers and even saying such horrible things about other current staff. Anger outbursts were a common thing in dispatch and very much tolerated and dismissed as the norm." The workplace culture was horrible! Negative and one sided. Its too bad, its such a great business and could be a good company to work for. I wonder if the owner really knows what goes on in this place.

Good place to work

Pay was good, benefits were good. The drivers were good. I enjoyed my time there. It was a great place to gain experience. I have no complaints of this company.

Disappointed with the lack of work. I haven't heard from them in over 6 weeks.

Great job. Lousy management. We were constantly threatened with instant dismissal if a rule was broken. I did love the work though.

My role in this company was focused mainly on accounting, and payroll. My secondary function was to assist employees with company benefits, and procedures. My days were full, but regimented . The hardest part of this job would be the firm deadlines for payroll, and month end reports.
