Good Experience
Manager in Training (Former Employee) - South Riding, VA - 23 April 2018
For a first job, definitely a good experience to have in your pocket. I advanced quickly from service rep to MIT in less than a year. I had a few hiccups based on misunderstandings of what to do exactly for my job. The management was touchy at times as we went through three managers I think while I was there. I learned timing, fast and quality production of products, accounting work, procedures for safety and food safety as well. The hardest part is measuring the facts versus biased reasons between employees. The processes were very "Let's keep this in the store and not bring this up as best we can to other higher ups", which can be true for certain cases- but not in a few of mine. The most enjoyable part was interacting with customers, feelings of accomplishments, and seeing the happy smiles brought among the consumer and the fellow employees.
Pros
free lunches, teamwork prominent, great benefits
Cons
no paid vacations, hard to keep set schedule

Depends on where you are.
General Manager in Training (Current Employee) - San Antonio, TX - 12 July 2021
I was working in a place that was really good, it was just busy and if people don’t wanna really work, they just halfass it or they just dip on you the next day after. No warnings most times, but the place I worked at was great. Now I work at another store and the main manager doesn’t help and slacks, I’ve seen other stores with worse only cause management slacks.
Pros
Free food, hours
Cons
No benefits, no pto, hard to request days off
