Management is underqualified. Staff are overworked. Cashiers are the favourites, merchandisers are the donkeys. Not enough pay, work like a dog, body pain, no acknowledgement, managers have unrealistic expectations.

I just left my job at dollarama last week (Oct 26, 2918) because after working there 2 years I was expected to then start at 6 am. I have a sleep problem and this is impossible for me. I told the manager several times I couldn't do it any more. The last time she told me that if I couldn't start at 6am to find a new job. Others have time issues and she didnt have a problem to accommodate them. I am one of the few who actually do work there so I question their management abilities. Last day there no one including manager or district manager acknowledged my resignation. Wow!!!!! Fairview mall, st catharines.
