Work like no other
When first starting working at DLC, I was expecting a level of formality that did not give me much room for creativity and decision making. Compared to my previous job, I expected to be working for every second that I was there. Well, as the saying goes, "you won't have to work a day in your life if you love the job". While I cannot outright disqualify this as a job, I like it enough for me to often forget that this is my job. I have done this job for three years now and the relationships that are formed with the coworkers makes the experience much more enjoyable (with the awesome heat and summer enjoyment as an added advantage). It is not all rainbows and sunshine of course. DLC is a highly respected company and their clients expect a good service. While we are not fully serious at every moment of the day, the job gets done and we always manage to put a smile on the client's faces.

Be part of a team! Hard work with plenty of hours!
Great place to work. Grass cutting are typically long hours from 7 to 5 ish, be prepared to work alot of saturdays though! Employees are nice, crewchiefs are generally great mentors and will teach you everything you need to know! It's a great place to start learning about yourself and landscaping.Time flies at DLC, you'll never be boredThey also have the best equipment and the best contracts by far in the West Island!

Fast paced. Fair. Enjoyable.
Winter work was a bit challenging because you had to be ready any time it snowed and they really didn't like you to take time off when it might snow. Understandable from their point of view because they have to keep their clients happy and safe but just means its fairly demanding on work/life balance. Team was friendly to work with and equipment was late model and pretty well maintained. I would work here again but I got a really good job opportunity elsewhere.
