Diversified Employee Transportation services continue to support the petrochemical, energy, and construction sectors by providing safe and reliable transportation of the Alberta workforce. In the early 1960's Diversified Transportation pioneered the transportation system during the building of the Sherritt Gordon plant in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. At that time we were convinced that trades workers could be safely transported to major construction outside of major cities, effectively and efficiently.
Since introducing our employee transportation service we have moved hundreds of thousands of workers safely to a broad range of work sites throughout the Edmonton, Central Alberta and Fort McMurray regions.

Diversified is named well, in that it has a very diverse selection of job, job locations, shift or rotation schedules etc. They provide extensive training suited specifically for whatever job you do.
Brutal work environment. You're treated extremely poorly by customers and management does nothing to rectify anything. You're constantly in unsafe situations while working at night, and receive a run around anytime you talk to anyone higher up about it. Below minimum wage with zero raises after any amount of time no matter how much you work or how hard you work. Promise of a pay increase after 3 months but it never happens. High turnaround of employees ( saw multiple people who had been there for 10 plus years quit because of the environment), in the few months I was there was multiple people who quit after being there for a week because of how little the hourly pay is for the amount of issues you have to deal with.
Decent money based on the industry but better opportunity if you're looking for a job in fort McMurray. You get to pay for a pushover union here - all they do is justify managements decisions. This place use to be run so much better till this latest collection came in. Now that we're proudly owned by a US company I can't see it getting better.
A disconnect between staff and management unable to follow labour laws or employees concerns . Split shifts become tiring without much time off to rest . They do not care about staff morale and the company has a if you don't like it here leave mentality .
Diversified is a great company where one finds every employee from multicultural backgrounds. Such a great company to start up. Diversified has one of the best equipment to do the job right.
