Multicultural

A good place to work for if you are considered a minority. Otherwise, not a lot of consideration given. Good work hours. Office equipment not up to date. Great coworkers.

Low morale, very difficult place to work

Expectations were very high. 12 hours days were the norm. A lot of nepotism and favourites. Very cliquey at the top. Within 6 months from when I left, all but 2 managers also left. Looked and sounded great in interview, but in reality not at all.

Rewarding experience to work at DCRS

I worked as a Summer Student at DCRS and it gave me the exposure I needed for work in social services and it was a rewarding experience to help the community. The staff is amazing and it's a fun place to be.
