Low pay and no job security

I spent years at the company, and was one of the few people that was able to move up in that period of time that was not laid off. The main reason I left was for a job doing basically the same thing, but with a $12 000 per year pay raise with better benefits.

The management got better before I left, but nepotism had always been key within the organization.
