DGC fails to negotiate compensation or career advancement of its members
Assistant Director (Current Employee) –  Vancouver, BC10 February 2018
The Directors Guild of Canada has failed to evolve as the industry progresses. It is run by people who have more or less failed in the business and instead of promoting the growth of it's own members, it provides grants and recognition to non members who haven't worked a day on a DGC production.

Production Assistant (Former Employee) –  Vancouver, BC26 June 2018
I loved movie sets. And being a PA. But the hours were so long and boring. Only down fall. I loved how every set became like family and we always had fun
