I would recommend this workplace . Have the best intentions and do want to discuss issues with the team and work through things as professionally as possible, I only left due to health reasons. Management at the time I was there seemed a bit slow and underdeveloped when it came to giving paperwork on time/ properly but they did display intention to fix this and was gradually doing so.

"In this workplace, adhering to the boss's preferences is crucial, even if you possess more innovative and superior ideas, they are not open to considering them. Individuals in higher positions simply reinforce these rules and emphasize the importance of following instructions, which often leads to many employees choosing to leave. As a manufacturing company, the production rate lacks consistency, frequently resulting in a shortage of parts and consequently rendering the company idle for several months. Surprisingly, even during these periods, additional staff members are hired (a recurring pattern each year). It appears that the HR department recruits new employees, making promises of promotion to their desired career field after the probationary period, but there is no internal hiring process, regardless of how diligently one has worked during that initial period."

Horrible management. HR and office don't care about shop employees. Paycheques are often messed up and require you to wait the following pay period to have it resolved which often comes with more issues. Supervisors show favoritism to their friends where if you're not part of that clique you will be doing most of if not all the work for the day while they hang out and talk/play on their phones. The shop has more cameras than a prison and you will be watched and written up for the smallest thing unless part of that "clique". Snacks and coffee have been taken away as they cost too much money for the company.

A lot of things to learn and gain experience technically from switchgear to minipods and it is a great Company to work with a lot of values such as work balance, respect, and teamwork

Digital Shovel is a relatively new company. I was put on temporary lay-off due to lack of work. I was upset. More so because I'm gonna miss the people I worked with. The owner of the company is a great guy. The culture is great. I can say I honestly enjoyed going into work every day.

Great place to work

This is a great place to work with, I’ve been given the chance to balance between my work and family as well. Amazing employees with great respect and discipline and teamwork as well.Management, Supervisors, and owner are very supportive. A million thanks would not be enough but still my wholehearted gratitude.

Fantastic experience

I can’t say enough good things about this place if you are look for a productive environment with amazing team around you this is it. You will have the opportunity to learn and gain new skills and experiences. Management is supportive and respectful and has lunches and company gatherings. Also pay is better than most places that are not nearly as rewarding as Digital Shovel.

I always thought that people that say "I love my job!" were either exaggerating or they're workaholics. Shortly after joining Digital Shovel it was astonishing to me that I can actually feel this way about my job and coming to work.All the people I've met and currently work with are genuinely brilliant, professional, and a joy to be around them both in and out of office.The company promotes taking on more responsibilities (although not forced) and putting your best effort by rewarding you generously (raises/promotions).In addition to all that, there are numerous perks. A gym, lunch rooms, parties, snacks, bonuses, budget for anything the employees needs (e.g. machines, components, computers, work-related service subscriptions, and more).And there are even more things coming along soon.I highly recommend joining the team and experiencing all this for yourself!
