Reviews about Pay & benefits for Dental Hygienist at dentalcorp
Productive and evolving work place
Dental Hygienist (Current Employee) - Ontario - 1 October 2022
Dentalcorp is as good as any corporation providing healthcare. Production and billable services are priorities. What is nice about a corporation is the support you receive through a network of support from HR to compliance in reprocessing instruments. It takes some burden off of staff. I would appreciate more transparency in hiring methods, job advancements and compensation.

Dentalcorp - an unsuccess story
Registered Dental Hygienist (Current Employee) - Canada - 2 March 2023
As a current employee of dentalcorp, I must say that my experience with this company is extremely disappointing. From the very beginning, I found the management to be disorganized and unprofessional, with little regard for the well-being of their employees. One of the biggest issues I'm facing while working at dentalcorp is the lack of support provided by the company. There is a constant sense of being understaffed and overworked, which often resulted in patients being left waiting for extended periods of time. This not only created a stressful work environment but also negatively impacted patient care. Moreover, the company culture at dentalcorp is toxic and unsupportive. There is a constant focus on providing opportunities for success for the dentists, but not any of the other staff. The model seems to be, dentists are encouraged to be motivated by financial gain, and dental hygienists are purely to motivated by providing quality care for their clients. The compensation and benefits package offered by dentalcorp is also below average, with low wage and limited opportunities for advancement. There is lack of transparency with regards to wage. Job postings contain misinformation like, "competitive compensation". Despite promises of growth and development, I find it difficult to advance within the company and was met with a lack of support when attempting to do so. Overall, I would not recommend dentalcorp as an employer to anyone. The company's lack of support, toxic culture, and inadequate compensation make it a difficult and unrewarding place to work.

Will never work for Dentalcorp again
Dental Hygienist (Former Employee) - Scarborough, ON - 26 January 2023
I am not sure with other Dentalcorp offices , but where I worked before, it seems as though production comes first over patient care. Time given to care for patients are too short and most dental hygienists there were too stressed and depressed. Salary was not commensurate of the job requirement
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Very strict with hours
