Selfish and savage

Indeed featured review

It’s a messed up place. Managers are like dogs just want to stay on top so don’t bother applying here if u have dental experience bcuz these low self esteem dental choice Managers will drain you take everything you know present it as their own and throw you out. Everyone competes it’s a horrible atmosphere and each location trashed the other. there’s no advancement with Dental Choice, it’s not a place I would recommend to any experienced dental assistant/admin, just a waste of time. But hey I could be wrong maybe it was just my superiors that were horrible, maybe the other ones in different locations are more human like. Anyways this place don’t work as a team and they never once disinfected the front in my entire time there I was the only one who paid attention to it.

Pros

Pay is good

Cons

No appreciation

Poor management, high turnover, great coworkers

Extremely poor management and high turnover. Top management likes to "micro-manage" employees at all levels. Poor communication and less clarity between management and employees has always been an issue. it's all about profit - which is why they always lose good employees.

Pros

Great coworkers

Cons

High turnover, poor management, poor benefits

It's all about profit

Admin is "urged" to have a 0% outstanding accounts receivable, even if that means you don't let the patient leave hours after treatment is done requiring a fund transfer to their account (personally witnessed). Patients "urged" to have pan X-rays done even if they don't really need and will not be covered by insurance. Lots of new grad dentists hired and take 2-3 times as long to complete treatments and yet expected to bill same as established dentists and to have a full schedule daily without an established patient base. Hire new grad dentists who do poor work and are unable to fix their mistakes. Admin are responsible for others mistakes and are expected to stay late until everything is fixed.

Pros

Free lunch with monthly staff meeting

Cons

Late hours
