Coworkers are usually easy to get along with, good benefits, good pay for easy work.

Indeed featured review

Denso as a company gives great benefits, great incentives and great programs/events. Company offers full uniform, there’s a cafeteria, lounge area as well. Lots of pros when it comes to working for this company, most of the people who work there are very nice, fun to get along with, outgoing and smart but as there is pros, there’s almost as many cons. It’s not a clean facility, garbage everywhere outside, and inside (people do not clean up after themselves well, but alas that’s more an individual problem than a company issue), the air quality is poor and should be looked at yearly with the HVAC system they have in place (also should be updated). Employees had to fight for heat breaks in 40 degree weather, another con is you will also be made fun of my fellow coworkers or management, yelled at, blackmailed, etc. Coworkers constantly are fighting with each other, all of upper management shows favouritism as well and it is clear as day who receives it. One last con that I will touch on that’s extremely important, HR does NOT do their job when it comes to harassment. They treat both parties like children and gives insufficient solutions to the problems. Some specific men will talk very inappropriately to you, touch you, cat call you, follow you home, etc and HR does nothing about it. Many people who are repeat offenders have a secure job at this place, so beware.

Don’t do it.

The pay is great and the benefits are an awesome bonus but the environment is toxic. Management doesn’t care about your mental or physical health. They will play dirty when it comes to an injury due to the repetitive nature of the job and the HR team is not there to represent you and your best interests. They are only there to look out for company. Ask yourself, why are they ALWAYS hiring?

Don’t waste your time

Worked there for years, but I quit for personal reasons and was told by management that if I ever wanted to come back to call them. Well I tried to go back a couple years later and they dismissed me due to my last year I worked there I had so much time off even was on stress leave. I explained everything to them but they don’t seem to care about someone’s mental health and well being and it’s not a good enough excuse as to why 1 year out of 7 my attendance was not so good.

Disgusting

Awful management, the people act like they are in highschool, do not care about your mental or physical health. They will let you go without warning and with little to no reason. Do not work here

Pros

Social committee

Cons

Management

Enjoyed the people I worked with.

Benefits were great for my family but hours sucked when were on mandatory overtime. Switching shifts if you had someone to switch with was great but management would give you a hard time about it if someone else complained and would force the person you switch with to switch with someone else. Worked there for years and would not go back.

Pros

Benefits

Cons

Too much mandatory overtime

A decent Summer job that guarantees 40 Hours with overtime too. A lot of repetitive task

The work was fairly easy. You switch jobs every 2 hours and get a break in between. All tasks in the plant are relatively easy, mundane and boring. However, you will get sore from repetitive tasks you do. Furthermore, you'll need to be used to standing for long hours of time. Temperature is the biggest issue in the plant. You'll probably be sweating lot and feel very sticky due to the humidity. A decent Summer job that guarantees 40 Hours with overtime too. Probably good if you are looking for a job without trying too hard. Couple events throughout the summer like BBQ and such.

Treated with Respect and Care.

The Warehouse staff quickly acclimated me to the fast pace of the factory and made sure that if I had any problems there was no shortage of people willing to help out regardless of if it was just advice of if they were actually going to show me what to do. Always was treated with respect and built many positive relationships with the other staff members. Never felt I was treated differently despite the fact that I was only one of two student employees out of 25 warehouse workers.

Pros

Cheap Lunches on site, Good People, Never was put into a situation where I felt overwhelmed.

Cons

Long Hours

great management

Not only are the people you work with great but so is management. I found out i was pregnant shortly after applying at Denso, so when i started there i was pregnant. Being a new employee and having my appointments and missing time for them and being sick management was very understandable.

Denso

Loved working there, little hot in the summer but was a great place, probably one of the cleanest factories you will see. Left to go back to school...

Great pay, bad job

The company claims to care about it's employees however treat employees just like a number. They are not as ergonomically friendly as they should be considering how physically demanding the job is.

Pros

Excellent pay

Cons

Physically demanding

Summer student Production Associate

Great job for a summer student. You get full-time hours with a lot of chance for over time and the other workers are very friendly and helpful. Very fast paced environment

Denso

The job pays well, but it an overall horrible job. Managment is horrible and being forced to work overtime is tiring. Endless threats to be let go if don't work extra hours.

Production line based work, not very respectful to others.

Hot in the summer but they do give heat breaks. If you can't keep up your fired kind of attitude. Very demanding and stressful. Culturally diverse which causes a mix of not very positive attitudes. Bullying and harassment is definitely a problem there.

Reliable and job security guarantee workplace

A typical work day is straight forward, you do a different station every 1 or 2 hours and then have a break. Each 2 hour chunk you will do a different station or type of work. The hardest part of the job at times can be hard on certain muscles; constant wearing down. But maintaining a healthy body with stretching and frequent working out at the gym will promote endurance to get you through your day. Once a full-time associate, you have benefits and it is most important to use the massages and other benefits to maintain your body's health and for best work performance. Workplace culture can be emotionally trying depending on circumstances, but generally each person is friendly. Management shows their concern for the company and associates by providing free lunches and other gifts/bonuses.

Pros

Workplace is close to various fast food restaurants. Cafeteria with a reasonably priced hot meal.

Good Place to be Hired On

The Benefits are really good and the employees have a positive attitude, I was working with a temporary agency. The downside of the company was the rotation shift at odd hours.
