Great benefits for you and your family

Indeed featured review

Decent pay and great benefits. It was clean and not the hardest work. Could be very hot in the summer but overall a good job. some of the team leaders were annoying but they still did their job, i never felt unsafe working at denso

Don't work here unless you have to.

I have nothing good to say about the place. People are overworked and underpaid, it's chaotic. Avoid here at all costs unless you need a job because they will hire anyone who kills quality and production.

It’s a factory with all characters

Good company that takes care of its associates , but the rotating shifts take a toll on the body overtime. The workers are straight up hardworking and some new comers that are not aligned with good work ethic will not last.

Waste of time

Don't go there. You are not a human for them. especially HVAC line. All the HVAC workers have Spine Scoliosis problem. No respect for people. If you're friend of leaders you'll get a easy job otherwise good luck.

Productive

Good for working and sometimes hard. It's up to department. And it is a rotary shift that is good for some people but I prefer to work in straight shifts.

Good people, lots of opportunities for growth

Good job to gain work life experience. If you are patient, opportunities to grow your career are there. Sometimes with the way the world is just now with global shortages, hours can go from (rarely) 5 hours to 10 hours depending on orders.

Pros

Benefits, career growth

Cons

Repetitive work, inconsistent hours

Don't work here

There are two shifts: 6am-4pm or 4pm-2am (this is the max, shifts are normally shorter). Generally you're switching back and forth every two weeks. This means your ability to sleep suffers. you're constantly tired and they don't take production mistakes lightly. it's very stressful and the work environment is toxic.

Pros

good pay

Cons

toxic work environment, bad work life balance, no sleep, stressful.

It is an excellent place to work

I feel if you start a job and you give 100% it is always a great place to work. Management is very approachable and they work fairly. It is place that requires team work to complete jobs.

Just a number

Didn't feel valued as a employee, you are even 1 min late because of unforeseen stuff getting in the way, either it be traffic or life they don't cant care and you will get dinged for it. There was a lady that was having HEART PROBLEMS and had to go to the ER and still got in trouble for it. If that does not say something about the company i don't know what will.

If you value money over your mental health then step right up

It is hard work, and long hours. They care not about your life outside of work, and put reaching production numbers over the mental and physical health of the employees. Management cares not about solving issues on the floor, or fixing major problems with the way the factory functions they only care about there own advancement and impressing those who are above them. They abuse hard working employees by piling the majority of the workload onto them knowing that they will be able to get it done, while the employees who are lazy and unwilling to put in the effort will stand around and get away with it. They do pay better than most places in the area so if you are looking to make a decent amount of money, but go home hating yourself and in pain every single day, the denso manufacturing is definitely the place for you

Pros

Good benefits, good pay

Cons

Poor managment, little chance for advancment, hating yourself

Don’t do it.

The pay is great and the benefits are an awesome bonus but the environment is toxic. Management doesn’t care about your mental or physical health. They will play dirty when it comes to an injury due to the repetitive nature of the job and the HR team is not there to represent you and your best interests. They are only there to look out for company. Ask yourself, why are they ALWAYS hiring?

Summer student Production Associate

Great job for a summer student. You get full-time hours with a lot of chance for over time and the other workers are very friendly and helpful. Very fast paced environment

Reliable and job security guarantee workplace

A typical work day is straight forward, you do a different station every 1 or 2 hours and then have a break. Each 2 hour chunk you will do a different station or type of work. The hardest part of the job at times can be hard on certain muscles; constant wearing down. But maintaining a healthy body with stretching and frequent working out at the gym will promote endurance to get you through your day. Once a full-time associate, you have benefits and it is most important to use the massages and other benefits to maintain your body's health and for best work performance. Workplace culture can be emotionally trying depending on circumstances, but generally each person is friendly. Management shows their concern for the company and associates by providing free lunches and other gifts/bonuses.

Pros

Workplace is close to various fast food restaurants. Cafeteria with a reasonably priced hot meal.

Great place to work, plenty of hours, respectful management.

DENSO gave me a solid job while I try to gain entry into my field of study. This job offers competitive wage, steady simple work, and opportunity for lots of overtime. Management considers the needs of the workers offering incentives, cost-of-living raises, and yearly/holiday bonuses. All-in-all a great place to work that only requires you to show up and work hard.

Pros

Free food/gear/bonuses etc.

Cons

Some departments work long (10 h) shifts (could be a pro)

very productive, hard working, stride to make my numbers in this very fast pace working environment

Typical day at Denso, would go in half hour early and set up the machines, making sure that all is running well and are all programmed for the first part we will be running. Was in charge of doing a "first piece" run to ensure all measurements were all up to code before the associates were to start running the machine. We had four rotations throughout the day, where we were all trained to run all machines on the line. If all associates were present for the day, would be given the opportunity to work "off line", which was supplying the various associates with parts, handling the rejected parts and inspecting them and assisting the Team Leader with whatever he/she needed help with. At Denso we worked on a two week rotating shift basis, consisting of days and afternoons.
