An alright summer job if you can handle the workplace
Factory Worker (Former Employee) – Surrey, BC – 21 June 2019
The worst part about the job was the smell of raw fish and their guts everywhere and sometimes the cold. Depending on where they put you would change the day. Some stations were not as hard or as tiring as others. Most of the workers there didn't know English which wasn't a big deal it would just cause minor inconveniences which wasn't a big deal. You are handling fish the whole time and the smell will rub off on you and sometimes the fish guts might find its way into your clothing or your boots which was always nasty. I worked there as a seasonal worker for the summer and it was alright once I got used to it.
Production Line Worker / Forklift Operator (Former Employee) – Delta, BC – 5 April 2016
