Maintenance Planner (Current Employee) –  Mississauga, ON15 October 2018
Learned about how to plan in advance and give due importance to workplace safety hazards. On a typical day you interact with several workers from different departments so you get a sense of how to make workflow and daily operations as smooth as possible

Assistant GM - Canadian Operations (Former Employee) –  Mississauga, ON30 May 2018
The organization seems to go through a continual evolution, but nothing gets better. The owners do not respect the leadership team and are continually replacing them without the benefit of understanding why. The ownership takes consul from the wrong individual(s) and fails to see the good or understand the challenges of a large organization.
Pros
Good experience to learn about metal stamping

Process operator (Current Employee) –  Mississauga, ON25 April 2017
A typical day at work was fast paced at time. Had to learn how to prioritize to be able to accomplish my duties on time. Management were always there to provide me with their help. My co-workers were great people to work with. The hardest part of my job was the travel time to and from work. I loved being at the hub of the company and greeting the public. Really enjoyed the busy pace of Reception.

staff is nice

Outside Service/Logistics Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Mississauga, ON7 April 2017
This company had many very qualified members that were just unappreciated and respected. Stuck in the old ways of manufacturing and not ready to move forward to the new ways because of old managers.

Stay away from this place! Expect to be fired just the next minute.
Quality (Former Employee) –  Mississauga, ON14 July 2016
This place is by far the worst out there.

The stress is unmeasurable and the lack of judgment is without boundaries. Expect to work 70-80 hours per week without overtime and appreciation.

The big boss, the owner, calls employees thieves all the time while the company steal workers' time on production meeting without any paying a penny.

They fired people on a regular basis, so you can see they're hiring all the time. The most pressured department is HR, and they are firing and hiring almost every day.

They will hire much more than they need and will fire 90% in two weeks to three months. Whatever left will most of time quit in 6 months. So it's hardly see any employee senior than 6 months.

They are unorganized, unprofessional, and they are trying to push unrealistic goals down your throat. You'll be fired if you say "no" or even trying to explain.

Don't fooled by them. Most of their permanent positions are actually some 2-3 months temporary. Then don't offer contract because they don't want to pay the extra and are hard to terminate before the term.
Pros
Still pay on time?
Cons
Everything. Bossy bully management; no respect at all.

Fast Paced Environment - Good Place to Gain Experience
Project Engineer (Former Employee) –  Mississauga, ON21 February 2016
Very fast paced environment. Lots to do, never a dull moment. Family atmosphere can be seen as both a positive and a negative. Not enough employees to handle the workload - company tends to rely too much on key performing employees and will keep them very busy. Most of the time the key employees are too busy which affects their quality of work, work life balance and can sometimes results in a negative attitude. Suggestion would be to hire more employees so that work load is more manageable. Not enough social initiatives or extra curricular activities resulting in lower morale.

Good advancement opportunities and employees are rewarded for staying with the company. High turnover of employees which negatively affects company image.
Pros
Good career advancement, friendly employees, family atmosphere.
Cons
Employees are overworked, not enough social and/or extra curricular initiatives.

Receptionist and Production Administrator (Former Employee) –  Woodstock, Ontario11 July 2012
I started with data entry, wip reports/journals, docket pkgs and printing of orders for the production floor, answering and maintaining phones as well as meeting and greeting customers.

I started as a press operator, processed to a set up operator where i then became a team leader for the press dept. Applied and received the job of production administration and when DBG downsized not only did I continued with the production administration duties, I also maintained the job duties for the front desk receptionist. I enjoyed my journey with DBG and working with all the team members through out the 23 years I had at DBG.
Pros
in the woodstock area, easy to work for
Cons
the only con was the closing of the company
