Bad company to work for - managers are not technically skilled
QUALITY PROCESS ENGINEER (Former Employee) –  Mississauga, ON7 September 2018
This is a family owned business. Their focus and goal is how to make money and not about the quality of the product, customer satisfaction or building a great company culture.

The managers are not technically skilled. The two quality managers don't have any technical skill, engineering background neither understand about automotive industry system and operations.

The managers have dictatorship mentality. Unhealthy environment and they constantly try to find mistakes and pass all their work to you on top of your own overloaded work. They are not resourceful nor reasonable. They expect you to work from home and schedule meetings even after your work hours.

No training are provided. Their words do not match their actions. Their displays are just a show to the customers.

No job perspectives or personal career growth are in that company.

The company is not organized. The program managers are lazy and are there to make money. Constant fire fighting, no appreciation for the hard and honest employees. Human resources are not helpful.

This organization forces one to cheat and fetch data. You are always under enormous pressure to cheat. It is always extremely last minute work.

The departments of their own do not work as a team, too much politics within their own management teams. They treat degree holders as another machines and treat them as they are in kindergarden.

If you are looking to build your career or have passion for work, you should not work for this company. Not a professional place.

Maintenance Clerk
Maintenance Clerk (Former Employee) –  Mississauga, ON14 August 2018
Company is going no where fast. There is no process of any kind you have to learn your way to do your job. No one to turn to for help, cuz no one knows. Do not trust anyone especially Managment (HR) they promise one thing but delivery NOTHING. They want to add more an more work to your work load, an not pay you more. But if you ask for a raise they let you go. People on the floor is not happy with management. They don't have anything in place.
Cons
Long hours. Poor management

Managed Bad
Materials Department (Current Employee) –  Mississauga, ON29 November 2017
To be honest the company is very good when it comes to salary and benefits. However if you are the type like me who care about the company and the work flow, it is a place that may be not for you. Company has a real problem with the software that is in charge of the operations. It is not designed to utilize it to get the best efficiencies. On top of that the system management team is not clear on the process or the best process to put in place to keep the system accurate.
Since the company struggles with the management of the software, it struggles retaining a good management team. The management team is a revolving door. So there is no real solution put in place by good management team to get the company to be more efficient and make a great place for its employees.
It is in need of real experienced management team who would stick through and help resolve the software issue that is a plague and help get the company to the next level.

Receptionist - Full Time (Current Employee) –  Mississauga, ON29 June 2017
My days at work are usually slow to medium to start and quickly pick up and gets me going depending on the job task. Ive learned how to be very organized as well as keep up to jobs accordingly. Workplace culture is good, friendly. The hardest part of the job is when something needs to get done asap. The most enjoyable part of the job is when I am able to get up and help someone with something that's hands on when needed. Overall this is a good and fast paced environment to work in.
Pros

Not for certified welders people are friendly
Welder/Fitter (Former Employee) –  Mississauga, ON13 March 2017
They want certified welders but the company isn't certified so it's a waste of time if you're certified. It'll be a long time before company is close to be certified. Very high turnover of welders. If you've been working in certified companies then you'll know more than welding supervisor. Most of the people are friendly. People have worked there for yrs without pay increase. This company is only good for a paycheck for a short period of time at least for welders. Don't get blueprints/drawings for welders get finished inspection drawing
Pros
Friendly people
Cons
Not for certified welders

Company lost and no future sited
Associate (Former Employee) –  Mississauga, ON2 January 2017
Working for this company gets you very convinced in the early stages that they are going to be going somewhere in the future. This goes away rapidly as you realized the average associate their on the floor has worked for the company for an average of 5 years or less. Very few make it past 10 years, due to either they get bought out or they quit because they really do not like the culture their. The company has really lost their ways and keep going to circles. If you are a thinker and want to make a positive difference in a company then I suggest you not work here but if your a donkey and all you want to do is just make some extra cash in your pocket then this place is really good for you.
Pros
overtime is usually available
Cons
no true leaders in upper managment

A typical day at work was fast paced at time. Had to learn how to prioritize to be able to accomplish my duties on time. Management were always there to provide me with their help. My co-workers were great people to work with. The hardest part of my job was the travel time to and from work. I loved being at the hub of the company and greeting the public. Really enjoyed the busy pace of Reception.
