Customer Care Representative/ 3rd party request (Current Employee) – Grand Falls, NB – 9 December 2018
Typical day at Day & Ross sitting at the computer booking prepaid/collect and third party shipments via email mostly, answering phones occasionally. hardest part of my job is trying to answer difficult inquires and the most enjoyable part of my job is meeting new people and growing a strong working relationship.
we get bbq's and lunch
working nights, i don't mind occasionally but not all the time
Broker...owner operator (Current Employee) – Kelowna, BC – 13 March 2018
In a typical day you'd be required to hook your tractor to an assigned trailer and deliver it to city on manifest. All night driving so no interaction with any management. Hardest part of job is the winter weather conditions and the best part would be the independence that comes with working alone
Owner/Operator (Former Employee) – Brampton, ON – 4 January 2018
No worth loads for US. You will not get paid your waiting time. If delivery time 6 am Load pick up Time by 6 pm without any pay for such waiting. Only you will be forced to cover Pennsylvania loads. Waste of your time, no one a appreciate your work, no one thinks for company benefits every one wants to now your head in front of them, lot of bullshits . Forced to give them one star. Zero star for them.
Administrative Appointment Clerk (Former Employee) – Calgary, AB – 21 September 2017
Overall not the bets job, only good part about it was the hours. People were rude and not inviting. Made it feel like you were back in high school. During its slow months time seems to stretch on forever. No matter how good of a job you do they don't give you any credit.
mangagement isn't good, co-workers are rude and childish.
I really enjoyed working for Day & Ross. I was doing collections and work in a small team the interacted well and was very supportive. My day consisted of making follow up calls for accounts that were past due. Overall good company to work for.
Not happy here,no respect,shortage of canadian drivers,they don't care,they hire foreigners,they live 24/7 in the truck.
